Distant - Station 19

A/N: I have been using the app character.ai for the past week or so. But I've missed writing my own stories, so here I am... TW: &bu$3

Vic has been distant from the crew. She hasn't been going to as many hangouts at Joes or anywhere, really. She goes straight home after shift.
One night, they all decided to go surprise her at her house...

Andy knocks on the door. "We don't want any of your cookies or whatever you're selling!" Vic's boyfriend yells. Andy looks at everyone confused. "I'm from doordash," Jack says, motioning for everyone to go hide. "Oh, sorry, sir," he opens the door and takes the pizza with a smile. Jack sees Vic in the back with a black eye. The man closes the door. "Okay, so you're not so worthless after all," he says to Vic. "Yeah.." Vic says with a sigh. They know now... what does she do...

Next shift, she walks into the kitchen. Everyone looks over at her. She turns around to walk away, but Andy grabs her hand. "We want to help you," She says softly. "You can't.." Vic says under her breath, pulling away. "So what!? You're just gonna let him treat you like that!?" Travis yells. Vic turns around. "It's not like I can do anything about it.." Vic argues. "Why not?" Andy asks softly. "Because, if I do, um.. he's gonna hurt me worse than he already does..." Vic says. "How bad does he hurt you?" Jack asks. "Pretty bad..." Vic says quietly. "You can't let him treat you like this," Andy says. "Well, what else am I supposed to do!?" Vic yells, starting to cry. "I'm terrified of him!" She yells. Everyone looks around sadly. "Hey... we're your family..." Andy says. "Yeah, we stick together..." Maya says. "We aren't gonna stand by and watch you get hurt like that." Jack says. "We can report him to the police or at least do something," Travis says. Vic sighs. "Do you really think it would work?" She asks quietly. "We're all behind you. You've got us to help you," Andy says. "Thank you..." Vic says, turning to face them all. "Now, can I check on that eye?" Ben asks. "Sure.." Vic says, sitting on the couch.
