AN: This is a re-write of one of my more recent ones. Because I was re-reading it and realizing how bad it originally was, I mean, it makes sense it was bad because I'd rushed it at the time.. also I've been binge watching Station 19 because it's on Hulu now..

Victoria (Vic) walks into the beanery (if you don't know what that is, its the kitchen/dining area in the station) where everyone is eating breakfast. "Morning everyone.." She says as she flashes a quick smile. Dean looks at her closely. "You've got a secret." He says, half jokingly. Vic's mouth is full of donuts. "I'll give it about a minute.." Travis jokes. "I second that.." Dean jokes. Vic looks back and forth for a moment. "Me and Paul had a fight," she says, almost inaudible because of the full mouth. Dean and Travis look at each other and then at her. Travis puts his coffee down. "A fight?.." He asks warily. Vic nods, swallowing the food. "What was it about?.." Andy suddenly asks. She'd been near the door and heard the conversation. "Oh.. uh.. it was dumb.." Vic mumbles. Andy looks at her closely and notices something. Her eyes get wide, and she pulls Vic into the storage closet and locks the door. Vic's eyes get wide. "A- Andy? What are you-" Vic gets cut off as Andy takes Vic's jacket off, showing a few bruises on her arm. Vic's eyes get wide. "A- Andy, it's not what it-" Vic gets interrupted again. "Vic. Look at me, and tell me the truth.. was this Paul?.." Andy asks, her voice breaking slightly. Vic's eyes get wide. "I.. uh.. well.. it was just a dumb fight.." Vic mumbles. Andy takes a deep breath. "What was it about?.." She asks. "Well.. uh.. it's not the first one.." Vic mumbles under her breath. Andy's eyes get wide as she realizes something. Her heart slightly breaks.

"Victoria.." Andy says, using her full name. Vic's eyes get wide. "Does Paul.. hurt you?.." Andy asks, her voice breaking, her accent showing. Vic looks away. "Vic, look at me." Andy suddenly snaps. Vic flinches slightly. "Sorry.. but.. I need to know.." Andy whispers. "A few times.. they were just dumb figh-" Vic is trying to defend Paul. "No. Vic, you don't dare defend him." Andy says sternly. She takes a deep breath to calm down. "Me, you, and Maya. We're getting drinks after shift.." Andy says. "What?.." Vic asks. "We can't talk about this right now because we're on shift.. but we end shift in a few hours. So me, you, and Maya will go day drinking.." Andy says. Vic sighs and hesitantly agrees, knowing Andy won't back down. They both leave the storage closet. Travis and Dean stop their conversation and look at the two women worried. Andy shakes her head, trying to make sure they stay silent. They both understand and go back to their conversation.
