Dumb - 911 Lone Star

Yn's pov:

I'm in the test room. I can't read the test. I'm panicking. The time is up, and I only have 2 questions done. This is my 2nd time doing the test. I leave the room. "Hey!" Marjan says. "How do you think you did?" I couldn't tell them the truth. "I don't know.." I say. We get back to the firehouse. I go in the bunk rooms and start crying. "Hey yn." Mateo says, walking in. "What's wrong?" He asks, worried. "I lied back there.." I say, burying my head in my knees. "I didn't do good. I failed again.. This is my 2nd time failing.."

Mateo's pov:

I walk into the bunk room. "Hey yn." I see her crying. "What's wrong?" I ask, worried. "I lied back there.." She says. "I didn't do good. I failed again.. This is my 2nd time failing.." I understood how she felt. As I had failed my first 2 exams. "One second. I need to go find something." I say. I run to go and find that tape the crew made for me. I run back to the bunks. "Hey. Don't beat yourself up." Marjan is saying to yn. "You're back?" Yn asks. "Yeah. I found what I was looking for." I say, walking over to her. "What were you looking for?" Marjan asks. I hand yn the tape.

Yn's pov:

Mateo runs out to find something. Marjan walks in and sees me crying. "Hey. What's up?" She asks, walking to me. "I failed the exam.. for the 2nd time.. I couldn't even get past 2 questions.." I say. "Hey.. don't beat yourself up.." She says. I see Mateo come back in. "You're back?" I ask. "Yeah, I found what I was looking for." He replies. "What were you looking for?" Marjan asks him. He hands me a tape and a recorder. "What.. is this.." I ask, looking at it. "Oh, it's that recording we made you." Marjan says. "Yeah." He replies. "Recording?" I ask. "I failed my test 2 times. For the 3rd test, I wanted to give up. But everyone here helped male me a recording of the whole study book and read the study questions to me." He says with a smile. "You.. failed 2 times?.." I ask. "Yeah, I have Dyslexia. So it's hard for me to read." He says with a sigh. I had no idea. "You're not dumb yn.. and you're definitely not alone.." Mateo says. "Yea, you're definitely not dumb." Marjan says. I start crying again. "Thank you.. both of you.."
