A/N: You are a doctor at West Park in this one because it makes more sense than you being a paramedic. Because if you were, the whole 126 would be comforting you.
Yn's pov:
I just lost someone on the job. I'm so upset with myself. Because it was all my fault. I should've done better. It hurts. The urges are so bad. I don't know where to go.
Mateo's pov:
I'm lying in bed. But I can't sleep for some reason. I hear a light knock on the door. I think I'm hearing things. I hear it again and get up. I walk to the door and open it. "Yn?" I ask quietly. "Um... I can't be alone, and I don't know where to go," she says. "Okay, come in. We have to be quiet, tho," I say quietly. "Okay," she says quietly. "Cap really values his beauty sleep," I say. "Yeah," she says quietly. We sit on the couch. "So what's going on?" I ask. She looks down. "It's okay, why don't we watch that new movie that came out? The Ant-Man one," I say. "Ooh, okay," she says excitedly. I connect my headphones, and we start the movie. She lays her head on my lap.
The credits are rolling. "That was one amazing movie," I say. "Yeah, it really was," she says, yawning. "How are they?" I ask. "Went down to about a 3," she says. "Good, let's get some," I stopped talking once I saw she fell asleep. I fall asleep. I wake up to Cap, standing by the counter.
Yn's pov:
I wake up. I see the clock. 8am. I sit up. "Oh shoot, I'm gonna be late," I see a man in the kitchen. "It's okay, you can wear one of my shirts," Mateo says. "Okay, thanks," I say. I run and grab one and put it on. "Thanks for helping me, I wanna meet them sometime," I say. "I know, maybe sometime when our shifts don't collide," he says. "Yeah, see you," I say, running out the door.
Mateo's pov:
"So, you gonna tell me who that was?" Owen asks. "She's my best friend. She's a doctor," I say, walking to the bathroom. I should introduce her to Tk. Maybe they could help each other. I mean, they both have addiction issues.
