Crisis - Station 19 (Part 2)

... Travis kicks the door down...

Andy is lying on the floor, bleeding, with a knife stuck in her side. Paul turns to the two of them. Travis's eyes get wide, and he quickly tackles Paul and holds him down until the police arrive. Vic runs over to Andy. "Andy.. Andy, hey. Can you hear me?.." Vic puts pressure on the wound. Andy's eyes slightly open. "Heyyy.." She mumbles. "Hey, you gotta stay awake, okay? Stay awake.." Vic says. The backup gets there. An officer arrests Paul. Ben and Maya run in with med kits. Maya's eyes get wide when she sees it's Andy. She runs over and starts putting pressure on the wound. "Warren quit just standing there and get over here!" Vic yells. Ben runs over and starts trying to pack the wound. Andy looks up at them, barely conscious. "Andy, you gotta stay awake for me, okay?.." Vic says calmly. Andy slightly nods. "I'm trying.." She mumbles, her eyes closing again. "Hey.. hey.." Maya snaps her fingers in front of Andy's face. "You aren't dying on us.. not like this.." Maya says sternly, her voice breaking. Andy nods slightly, trying to stay awake. Ben is still trying to pack the wound. "D-mn it, she's losing a lot of blood.. we gotta get her to the hospital.." Ben says quickly. They put her in the ambulance.

In the ambulance...

Andy is laying there, half awake, still bleeding pretty badly. "Maya?.." Andy mumbles, taking off the oxygen mask. "Hey, keep that on.." Maya says, putting it back on Andy's face. Andy shakes her head and takes it off again. "Call my dad.." She mumbles. Maya and Ben look at each other worriedly. "The blood loss and pain meds might be making her loopy.. just tell her we will.." Ben mouths silently. Maya nods. "Okay. We'll tell him to meet you at the hospital.." Maya says. Andy slightly smiles and relaxes.

[Time skip - about 6 hours later]

Maya is sitting next to Andy's hospital bed after Andy's surgery to remove the knife. The rest of the team had gone back to their shift. "Andy.. come on.. you gotta wake up.. this can't be how you die.." Maya mumbles. Maya lays her head on the hospital bed. Silence for a few minutes. "It's been a while since we've talked.. I'm not sure if you can actually hear me.." Maya says quietly. She sighs and lays back in the chair. "You gotta wake up.. I really gotta tell you something crazy.." Maya jokes...
