A/N: I adore Marjan and Mateo's friendship.

Mateo's pov:

A person was writing something because he couldn't talk due to his injuries. I couldn't read what he was saying. Judd had to come and help. But what if he didn't come in time.. he could've died.. I walk into the bunk room and sit on the bunk.  I'm so freaking dumb. Why can't I just be normal...

Marjan's pov:

Where is Mateo? I walk around and find him in the bunk room. "Hey Mateo," I say with a smile. I see he's crying. I sit next to him. "What's wrong?" I ask. "I'm so freaking dumb is what's wrong! I just wanna be normal!" He yells. "Hey, you are not dumb," I say. "Yes, I am! That person could've died if Judd didn't come in time!" He yells, pushing me away. "Hey. But he was there. That's what matters," I say. He gets up, "I JUST WANT TO BE NORMAL!" He screams. "What the heck is normal anyways?" I ask. "What?" He asks. "I mean. What's normal to you might not be normal to everyone else. But that doesn't mean something is wrong with you," I say. He sits back down. "I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW MY FREAKING TATTOO WAS WRONG! YOU PROBABLY ALL LAUGHED AT ME!" He yells. "Hey, nobody was laughing at you," I say. "Mateo, look at me," I say. He looks away. "Are you doing that because you know I'm right?" I ask. "What?" He asks. "I'm always right," I say with a smirk. "No, you're not," he says. "And I always win at Catan," I say. "Oh, is that how it's gonna be?" He asks. "Me and Nancy are totally gonna win Friday," he says. "Oh, are you really?" I ask. "Yeah!" He says. "Cause what are you?" I ask. "I'm smart!" He says. "Heck yeah, you are!" I yell. We fall down laughing. "And don't get me started on how much trivia you know about Marvel," I say, laughing. "I do know a lot about it," he says, laughing. "So, what are you?" I ask. "I'm not dumb," he says. I smell the air. "Is that chili I smell?" I ask. "Last one, there is a rotten egg!" He yells. We start running.
