Judd's pov:

There was a drunk driving accident. The drunk driver got out with barely a scratch. Yet a parent lost her child. I'm punching the punching bag.

Tk's pov:

I'm going to the gym to work out. I see Judd punching the bag. His knuckles are bleeding. "Hey, take a break," I say. He continues punching. "Judd. Take a break," I touch his shoulder, and he pushes me back. I get up and grab his arms. Trying to restrict him. He's hitting me. His punches become weaker. "Let it out," I say. He starts to break down. "It's not fair.. the drunk driver got away barely hurt, and a freaking parent lost her child!" He yells. "I know.. it's not fair.." I say. "What if something like that happens to Charlie while one of us is taking her to school.. there are so many different things that could happen to her.. what if I'm not able to protect her.." he says, crying. "Hey, it's okay," I say. "We wouldn't.. survive.." he says. "There is a lot that could happen," I say. He looks at me. "Is that supposed to be comforting?" He asks. "But, you don't know what's going to happen. You just have to have faith," I say. "Y Yeah.. you're right.. God knows what's gonna happen.. and everything happens for a reason," he says. "Thank you, Tk," he says. "Now, stay here and let me get the kit," I say, looking at his knuckles. He nods.
