An Old Man's Final Stand

First Person POV

It's been a day since I've came to this world and it was difficult to say the least. After I went north from the battlefield, I encountered some monsters from the game like the Little Bunnit. I thought I could take it but one hit from his tail sent me flying.

Me:"Ow...that that shit hurt." I rub my face as a few tears run down my cheek. Unfortunately, I'm a crier but I try to hold it in as much as I can.
Me:"Fine then, you probably tasted like shit anyway!" As I say yell that, the Little Bunnit somehow understood me and started chasing me.
"SHIT IM SORRY!!!" I start sprinting away.

Funny thing is, the Little Bunnit is one of the smallest monsters there, so I got lucky. I saw a Light Flier, a kind of moth like monster.

Me:"Nope." I say that and immediately walk around it. "Not dealing with that."

I find a cave to rest for the night, looking out the entrance to see Aionios again.

Me:"It may be bad now, but looking at this world, it's not bad to look at." I say admiring the land before laying down and go to sleep.
Me:" If anything, I just hope this is a nightmare..."
I fall asleep right after.

I wake up and continue onwards. I reach a pond or lake of some sorts, I never did figure that out but before I could continue ahead, I had to do something about the monsters in the water.

Me:"Well damn, forgot about you guys for a second." I say while looking in the water.
Me:" You know what? Screw it." I jump in the water and swim to the other side as fast as I could.

After I get out of the water, I place my hand on my collar to see if it's still working.

Me:"Damn thing still works." I say with a sigh as I continue to fiddle around with it before starting to walk again.

I walk a bit until I see Colony 9, where Noah and his group reside at the beginning of the game. I walk towards there, hoping to see if Noah and his group are there.

"Don't go there"

I jump from shock, looking around to see who said that before trying to walk towards Colony 9 again.

"Don't go there!"

Me:"Ugh!" I clutch my head in pain as it starts to hurt out of nowhere. "Alright I won't go there!" I say annoyed as I look at the colony.
Me: "It would be nice to talk to someone though...Actually, how the hell do I avoid Colony 9? It's literally covering so much space!" I yell out loud, echoing in the valley where Colony 9 is located.

Somehow, I avoid Colony 9, being able to not be seen as I walk through the valley as it stretches towards an even bigger area. It felt like the world has just expanded right now and I'm feeling excited and scared.

Aetia Region:
Yzana Plains

Mountains, grass and water, as if it's everywhere. I wonder through, taking in the sight before deciding to walk a bit faster. I walk down the path a bit before noticing some Kevesi troops and after a bit of thinking, I decide to just head down there to chat.

Me:"Hello there(meme intended)" I greet them as I approach.

As they hear me, one of them opens fire and just barely misses me. They get in formation, summoning their weapons and pointing them at me.
