Huo Junxian got on the motorcycle, and Gu Siyu took her to the pet hospital, with Teddy in between. Teddy was very quiet, staring at the scenery on the side attentively.

The alternating time between day and night formed a beautiful dusk. The red-orange clouds turned into waves swirling in the sky, transforming the entire sky into an exquisitely colored palette.

Pedestrians on both sides of the road walked in two directions, merging with the tall figures leaning towards the ground under the trees. As the motorcycle went deeper, the colors of the city became darker. Finally, the shadows on the ground became blurred, and the twilight turned into night.

"Huo Junxian."

"Yes?"

The person behind responded.

"Is Teddy about to fall off?"

Huo Junxian looked down and saw that Teddy's legs were almost slipping out from between them. This little thing seemed very fascinated and didn't know how to squeeze in properly. Huo Junxian reached out to catch it, and Teddy grinned and smiled at her. Huo Junxian also pursed her lips.

Gu Siyu's back was not broad, she was quite slim, but when she sat in front blocking the wind, she looked powerful and firm. The hand holding Huo Junxian's waist gradually tightened.

The journey was supposed to take only twenty minutes, but she drove for an extra half an hour. The motorcycle stopped, and Huo Junxian got off first. She held Teddy, who seemed dazed, and its legs clung to the seat, unwilling to get off.

Gu Siyu removed the key from the motorcycle, and slapped Teddy's head, "Hurry up and go get your fur cleaned."

"Arf." Teddy's little legs kicked, showing its displeasure, but it didn't dare to act up with Huo Junxian present.

The nearest pet hospital was where He Xiao worked. It was the largest hospital in the city, and the doctors there were very skilled. Huo Junxian usually brought her dog here for medical check-ups.

Gu Siyu sent a message to He Xiao at the entrance of the hospital, and she quickly ran out to take the dog. He Xiao wore a pair of blue medical gloves, and when she saw Teddy's messy fur, she chuckled and walked over, "Oh my, how did it become like this? Where's our handsome Xiao Yu?"

He Xiao said, "It's too late today, I don't have any fruit to offer you, but these cookies are pretty tasty. Siyu, give one pack to Sister Huo."

Gu Siyu nodded, tore open the packaging, and put a small piece in her mouth. The taste was good. She handed the other pack to Huo Junxian. Huo Junxian nodded slightly, holding the pack in her hand without opening it, and simply said, "Thank you."

"Not a problem, not a problem." He Xiao held Teddy and walked away.

The two of them followed inside the hospital, and there weren't many people around at this time. The hospital was filled with cats and dogs, and the smell wasn't pleasant. Huo Junxian went straight to the VIP lounge; she often brought Teddy here, so she was more familiar with this place than Gu Siyu.

The two of them sat quietly inside. Gu Siyu threw some small cookies into her mouth and glanced at Huo Junxian. Huo Junxian played with the rose, lightly touching the petals with her fingertips. The flowers were fragile, as if the petals would scatter with a slight breeze. She lowered her head to smell the fragrance, and her frown eased.
