Gu Siyu specially went to the mall to pick a bottle of good wine, brandy, and spent over five thousand on it. This liquor was strong; it tasted fine in small sips, but drinking too much could easily make one dizzy and prone to getting drunk.

Upon arriving at the location, Gu Siyu carried the wine inside. In the courtyard, there were many bricks piled on the side, and two bags of cement were stacked. Huo Junxian changed into a set of overalls, holding a shovel, and Teddy was watching nearby.

Teddy was the first to notice Gu Siyu. It barked at her, then hurriedly rushed towards her. Gu Siyu was bumped into full force, and she instinctively squatted down to pick up Teddy, nearly causing the wine under her armpit to spill. She quickly bent her waist and half-squatted.

"I thought of finishing early, and I also wanted to try it out. It's quite fun, looking forward to it," Huo Junxian replied.

Gu Siyu reached into her pocket, took out a ball, and threw it to Teddy. Teddy pounced to pick it up. These days, the rain had stopped, and Teddy's arthritis wasn't as severe. It couldn't stop being lively and active, now obediently lying on the ground playing with the new ball Gu Siyu bought for her.

Huo Junxian's gaze fell on the wine in Gu Siyu's hand, "You bought this?"

Gu Siyu nodded, "Can't celebrate without alcohol, right?"

Huo Junxian looked at Teddy playing with the ball, then asked, "What about mine?"

Huo Junxian said, "You bought gifts for Xiao Yu."

Gu Siyu handed the wine over, "Isn't this enough? What are you thinking?"

"Oh." Huo Junxian stood up, shook the water off her hands, and took the wine from Gu Siyu, "I'll put this in the wine cabinet. I'll get a bottle of red."

"Just drink this," Gu Siyu suggested.

"It's too strong. In the afternoon, we still have to build the bread oven. Drinking this would mean sleeping the whole afternoon. Besides, isn't this a gift for me? Shouldn't we save it?" Huo Junxian said.

"...suit yourself." Gu Siyu licked her lips and teased, seeing how tightly Huo Junxian held the bottle of brandy. She scoffed, "With your personality, celebrating what?"

Huo Junxian called Teddy, "Xiao Yu."

Teddy turned around and then pushed a small basket to her feet with its head. Huo Junxian took a pair of scissors, picked a few roses from the corner of the wall, put them in the small basket, lifted the basket, called Teddy into the house, walked to Gu Siyu's side, and pinned a large red rose behind her ear.

"Looks good, matches your earring today. It's a gift for you," Huo Junxian said politely.

"It's a pretty old-fashioned style," Gu Siyu said, taking out her phone. She lowered her head slightly, and the flower was about to fall. She reached out to support it.
