"I really have something to do today," Gu Siyu said seriously.

Gu Siyu hesitated, feeling awkward. "Just let me go for now."

Huo Junxian, still naked, held onto her, encircling her waist, her chin resting on Gu Siyu's shoulder. The sensations from their bodies intermingled.

Because of their earlier activities, there was a damp and sticky feeling.

"Are you going to push me away again?" Huo Junxian asked.

"Not... I'll try my best," Gu Siyu said. "I really have something important today."

"I'm not asking you to keep every promise," Huo Junxian replied.

"I... I'll come back once I finish today," Gu Siyu assured.

Creating some distance did seem effective; both of them calmed down. It wasn't as intense as before. Huo Junxian's lips lightly brushed against Gu Siyu's cheek, hooking onto her neck and pulling upward.
