Mera walked out of the kitchen after she'd finished making Mr and Mrs Diaz breakfast as her gift to them on their anniversary after Marco gave them his gift, which were fanny packs.
Mera: ( to Mr and Mrs Diaz, with a smile as she placed the food she made for them on the coffee table: ) Happy Anniversary, Mr and Mrs Diaz!
Mr. Diaz: Aw, Mera you shouldn't have.
Mrs. Diaz: I swear one day you are going to give us cavities by how sweet you are, Mery.
Mera: Aw, it's no problem, Mr and Mrs Diaz. It's your anniversary after all.
Mera noticed that Star looked distressed, and she was about to ask her friend what was wrong when....
Star: And I'm giving you a trip to Mewni!
Mera's eyes widened in response.
Mera: ( silently: ) Oh, dear...
Mr and Mrs Diaz: We're going to Mewni!
Marco: Uh, we can use our new fanny packs!
Mr. Diaz hugs Star and Mrs. Diaz jumps up and down.
Mr. Diaz: We go now, right?
Mrs. Diaz: Right now?
Mr. Diaz: I want to go right now!
Mrs. Diaz: Can we go right now?!

Star, Mera, and the Diazes stand next to an open dimensional portal.
Star: Welcome to Mewni!
Mr and Mrs Diaz took photographs.
Mrs. Diaz: ( to Star and Mera: ) Is this where you girls grew up?
Star: No-ho-ho. We live there.
Star points up. The camera pans up to a large castle.
Mr and Mrs Diaz: Ooh!
Mera: Oh. Higher.
The camera pans up further to a bigger castle in the clouds.
Mr and Mrs Diaz: Ooooh!
Star: ( sing-songy: ) Higher!
The camera pans up even further to Butterfly Castle.
Mr and Mrs Diaz: Ooooooh!!!
Mera: I live in one of the old condemned towers, it has an amazing view of the rose garden.
Mrs Diaz: Let's go there.
Star: Aw, you don't wanna see that lame, cheesy, touristy stuff. What you want is the real Mewni experience.
Mera: Oh! I know just the place to go. There's this bakery in the market that has the best cakes in the kingdom, my Uncle Lekmet and Aunt Hekapoo used to take me there all the time when I was a kid.
