After lunch break I was sitting in my cabin. I sent Adhya with my assistant because she wanted to buy something. But now it's being hard for me to focus on work.
I trust him as I have known him for a long time but still I am thinking I shouldn't have sent her with him. Insecurity is making me weak from inside. What if something happened to her?? I panicked.
I immediately grabbed my phone from the table and texted my assistant.
Me : where are you??
The two ticks turned blue within some seconds, I saw three dots popping on screen indicating him typing something.
Him: we got the colours she wanted, now we are on our way to the office. Will see you in ten minutes.
I heaved a sigh in relief. I ruffled my hairs in frustration, you are thinking too much Adii, calm down, calm down calm down. I kept telling myself.
Suddenly I heard a knock on the door of my cabin.
" Come in!! " I ordered fixing my posture causing a female to enter.
Oh, the canteen girl. She entered nervously, it's obvious as she wasn't expecting that I would call her to my cabin.
I don't know why but I felt like I should trust her, it's difficult for me to take care of my work and daughter at the same time so I need a caretaker and she needs a job. Simple.
I gestured to her to take a seat and she did with a small nod.
I noticed her fiddling with a diamond ring on ring finger. She is more nervous than she should be.
I slightly pushed a glass of water towards her " Have it!! " But she immediately shook her head as no.

Anshika pov
Oh, he is such a gentleman, but I am still confused. Why might he have called me here, is he going to sue me for asking a job in his cafeteria, but it sounds really stupid if a CEO himself doing that.
" Your name?? " His sudden question dragged me out of my thoughts with a little flinch.
Yeah I never told him my name and even if I had , I don't think he would have remembered that.
I just showed him file my hand where my name was written on the cover.
" Anshika!!! " I felt something inside my stomach when I heard my name from him, it felt euphoric. No one said that with so much respect.Please say it again.
What the hell are you thinking?? What the hell are you thinking Anshika, he is a father of a girl, he is a married man.
Wait, why am I thinking about his relationship status, I should think that I am engaged.
You are insane, you are literally, if this man got to know what you are thinking he will definitely throw you out of the window.
" Miss Anshika Sharma!! " He repeated.
" So you are looking for a job , right?? " I nodded my head several times in agreement.

" I have a job for you!! " I was shocked, happy, and a grin made its way to my lips. He isn't joking, a job, something I need more than anything.
My eyes sparkled but my jaw dropped at his next sentence
" I'll pay three thousand for one day!! "
Is he making jokes around, is he trying to make fun of my unemployment?? But he is the CEO, he definitely has more shits to care about rather than mocking me.
But what he said, I can't believe, I never got more than 500 for a day.

Maybe he noticed my frown so he said again " Isn't it enough then five thousand per day!! "
This man will definitely make me pass out on the spot, is he serious ? ?  Five thousand per day, means 1.5 lakh for a month. Which kind of job is he offering me??
" Are you ok with that?? " He asked me to look at him " If not then… . . " Before he can again increase the amount I slapped my both hands on the table making him little flinch.
First I shaked both of my palms in front of him in denial.
How should I tell him?? Oh god!!
Suddenly my eyes fell on the notepad on his desk.
I grabbed it along with a pen and wrote something. I passed him the note and he read it aloud.
" That's too much for me Sir!! "
He looked at me letting out a sigh " Miss the job isn't as easy as you think. "
I frown.
" It is really hectic work, it will exhaust you mentally and physically, and from my side I don't want to take any risk as that's my very personal work. You will have to stay inside this cabin for who knows how much time. And I don't know why but I think you can do it better than any lady, as simple as that you need a job I need you " His words were as confusing as the circus scene of Hera Pheri movie.
But reality hit me hard when I connected the dots. He said personal, exhausting, hectic, me inside his cabin for a long time and he needs me??
What the hell!! Is he asking me to be his mistress, how dare he?? Such a bastard!! He is a married man and asking me this kind of thing. What does he think about himself?? Do I look like that kind of girl??
I grabbed a glass of water and was about to stand up and throw this water on his face!!
