I hope this last

I have no words for what he just said neither I know what I should feel for Yash, but for Aditya I am concerned, he just shot someone. Not his kind of thing .
But it doesn't seem from his expression that he is guilty for killing someone.
" What happened!! " He asked softly bringing me back to earth.
I nodded my head as no with a slight smile, I know it's good for me that Yash doesn't exist anymore.
I stare at his eyes for a second " I was scared!! " He faltered, making my heart ache " I was scared for you!! "
I tighten my hold around his palm with a deep breath, and the next moment he leaned closer before pulling me in a hug.
I wrapped my arms around his torso and rested my chin on his shoulder.
My brain relaxed in the warmth of his body.
" Should I go?? " He asked in a low voice and I immediately shook my head as no, I heard his chuckle when I clenched my fists on his shirt.

I hope this…..whatever it is…lasts forever, I hope he is stable about his feelings for me. I just hope everything will be going fine.

Aditya… .

" I am so so so happy!!! Honey I love you!! " She screamed in happiness while clapping her hands.
I sighed, she is my daughter but she actually doesn't care that her father is eager to talk to her, her all attention is going to her honey. Ok I understand she is happy that Anshika is safe .
But it's been three hours since Rashmi dropped Adhya home, and she didn't even look at me.

She said she won't be talking to me if something happen to Anshika but as she is fine my daughter should talk to me na, this is completely cheating.

And obviously Anshika noticed that too. She steals glances from me from time to time.

" You know honey, I was so scared when that bad bad man walked into our house, he looked like a monster." She said with a sad voice, my stomach twisted in a knot, I was scared at that time too.
Only I know how I felt when I saw that bastard sitting so close to my baby.
Her voice note suddenly changed the track, it became high.
" I thought he will spin me in air, round and round , and then throw me in sky, like I saw in a cartoon movie "
I mentally laughed at her fantasy and cherry on top her amazed expression , she is adorable, no doubt she is my daughter.

I took two longer steps and lifted her from behind before making her face me. I settled her in my arms and sighed " Don't worry baby, no monster would hurt you as long as you have your dadda, I would definitely save my princess!! "

I said it while fixing the furs of her frock but my face straightened after hearing " And then who will save the princess when dadda becomes a monster!! "

I felt a pang in my chest.
" It's not happening again,  never!! " It's a promise, I am going to do that again.
Her innocent doe eyes never left mine, I caressed her cheeks " Dadda will never act like a monster, princess!! "

" Promise?? " She showed me her pinky, I smiled before locking my finger with her " Promise!! "
And she immediately hugged me, thank god, it wasn't that difficult but neither easy. And I know I won't do that again, not at all.

Anshika gave me a sweet smile which I returned to her.

After two days

We waved our hands back at Adhya and she ran inside the class. I never knew she was so excited for school. The majority of the kids cry on their first day, I did too but she is thinking school is some kind of fun. I hope it's true, at least for her.
I turned my head towards my left " Should we go?? "

She turned her head to me, nervous!! I know she is, her eyes don't hide every time.

So basically we came here to drop Adhya for her first day in school and she thinks I will drop her home and head to my office.
And she is nervous because she will be alone now, but little did she doesn't know about what I have planned.

" Let's go!!! " Before she could respond I held her wrist and started dragging her with me.

And as expected she didn't protest, she wasn't walking, I was making her walk behind.

I left her hand before opening the door of car for her, she blushed a little and blinked her eyes as thank you before hopping in.
I walked towards another side and slipped inside the car.

Anshika pov

He started the engine and drove off, this is going to be a long day, I will be alone today.
No… . not only today man, Adhya will be going school everyday. Shit!!
My only company.
I was looking outside the window but I immediately looked at him when I noticed this isn't the correct path.
We are going in opposite direction.
I tapped his shoulder and he just smiled,his smile, it's cute,
Before I could react he said calmly, without looking at me " I know this is not the same path!! "
I knitted my brows in a point, he chuckled.
" Her school will be over in four hours, I don't have anything to do at this time then… . " He paused and took a glance at me .
What!!
" Why don't we go on a date?? We have enough time!! "
I choked on my breath, I mentally laughed at the idea of having a date with him.
Is he serious??

" And I am not joking!! " He shrugged his shoulders, shifting his focus to the road.
I am still unable to digest it.
Date??
With Mr. Aditya Singh!!
He isn't going to the office is more shocking than he is taking me on a date.
And I don't know his definition of date, it might be surprising for me, I guess.
Because my date history was always terrible, whenever my ex fiance took me on a date we end up in fight. Technical it wasn't fight, because he was the one to shout at me and I used to listen.
Sometimes it was bearable and majority of the time I cried.

Let's see, how my first date go with Aditya!!
