After reading that book I knew we needed to get Daniel to a Coven, and fast. I spoke to him about it and he thinks it's a good idea. Fred was adamant that he goes wherever Dan goes and where Fred goes, George goes. I made my way around the room briefly speaking to everyone I could and all were happy to see my face again. Unexpectedly, the air was filled with magic, Tom had returned and not alone by the sounds of it. I could smell that Lucian was with him, the doors opened to reveal Tom who looked more dishevelled than I had ever seen him; Lucian walking tensely behind him.

Something had happened between them that much was clear and whatever it was, they were still upset about it. Tom voice cracked through the air like a whip "Everyone out except Romanoff." Bella squeezed my waist and kissed me a goodbye, watching her with fondness as she walked off besides her sister. Soon enough the room was cleared expect for me and Lucian.

Tom turned to me and said, "I require your help with tracking Potter down Hermione. I know that this is a lot to ask of you considering you have other duties to attend to but it will be quicker this way." Nodding to Tom, I responded "Of course." Lucian then said, "Notice that you have someone else to your pack?" I smiled but remembered Dan had no sire. "Yes, that is Daniel Farewell. He has no Sire and is Fred's mate. I actually met him at the Pride I went to with Draco, Pansy, Luna, Neville last year. Also I do know that we need to meet up with the Vampire coven anyway regarding the protection laws I put through. I wish to take Dan with us so then he has others of his species help him with being a Vampire." His face darkened in anger as he took the information in and nodded in agreement.

"Poor man. A good idea to go sooner than later, that will help him strengthen with his transition from human to vampire. How long has he been a turned for?" thinking about the time we had last met till now, "About four months?" Lucians and Tom eyes widened in surprise. Tom then said, "He's survived without his sire for that long? You must go and take him to this coven Lucian. You and I know that fledging's cannot survive long without a sire in their younger years." Tom almost looked desperately at Lucian, "I will go speak to this Daniel Farewell, see how he is faring." With Lucian being so serious, I looked to Tom who stared after his soulmate as he left with sadness in eyes.

Even though Tom was 'Lord Voldemort' he was still human. Well kind of. "Look I know it's not my place and I usually don't get involved but has something happened between you too?" Tom just seemed to deflate. "Oh child, even soulmates have arguments. It will work itself out eventually even if it hurts us. Sometimes pain can bring us closer together, no matter how much it agony it causes to be apart or to end up in an argument. Lucian...is a complicated man; no matter how fun he can be on the outside, he has lived many lives and it is hard for him. Sometimes it spills over and turns into something but we all deal with our demons. My darling mate just has many more to deal with." His voice was pained but so softly spoken that if I didn't have enhanced hearing, I was sure I would have even struggled to hear him.

I felt honoured that Tom had shared a part of them that not many would see. Lucian was like an Uncle to me and that made Tom the same. "As powerful as you are Hermoine, you are still only young. Me and Lucian have lived hard lives but none more than Lucian. It is not my story to tell but if you were to ask, I am sure that he would tell you. You have many challenges ahead you my dear but you will persevere I'm sure of it."

Taking in what Tom had told me, I made my way out of the room avoiding bumping into Daniel who was with Lucian. "We must go young one." Pushing my thoughts aside of what Tom had said; nodding to them both. Anxiety clouded Daniels face and I knew he was scared, thrusted into a world that he never knew existed. Fred and George stood at the exit and said at the same time, "We're coming with you." Lucian eyed them with scrutiny before releasing a sigh and tilting his head to follow. Before I knew it, we were heading towards the oldest Vampire coven in the world.
