One sunny and warm summer morning in Hill Street Neighborhood, Huckleberry Hound and Mr. Jinks were riding around the block. Jinks had been on his bike, while Huck had been on his scooter. Then after a while, Huck decided to do something really fun! In the summertime, there were people who would go waterskiiing. Since Huck didn't own a boat, nor waterskiis, he figured that he could at least pretend. So, Huck decided to put his scooter away, and put on his roller skates. He tied a rope to Jinks' bike, and held onto it. Jinks started pedaling as fast as he could, pulling Huck along the road.

"Wheeeeeeee!!" Huck squealed. "Faster, Jinksey!"

"Alright, hang on!!" Jinks cried. And he pedaled faster and faster.

"Yaaaaa-hooooo!!!" Huck yelled. "Hahaha!!! This is fun!!!"

"I told you you'd like it!" Jinks chuckled. "By the way, how come you don't ride your bike often?"

"Well, I sometimes get a little wobbly while cycling," Huck explained. "Besides, I think my scooter is a mite more fun!"

"I can tell! When you ride your scooter, you go really fast!"

"Same thing with roller skating!" Huck laughed. "But still, you can feel the breeze blowing in your ears as you ride!" They soon came to a stop as he wiped his forehead. "Whew!" he panted. "It sure is a hot day today though!"

Just then, they spotted Hokey Wolf riding by on his unicycle. "Hey, fellas!" he called out. "What are you just standing around for! The beach is calling our names!"

"The beach!!" Huck and Jinks chorused.

"Like it's a perfect day to go to the beach!" Jinks nodded.

Huck grinned. "Yeah, the sand and the sun...and the ocean...and oh! Let's get some popsicles!"

"Ooh yeah!" Jinks said. "What flavor do you want, Huck? Cherry? Strawberry? Banana?"

"Maybe!" Huck said. "I heard they have root beer and lemon-lime soda flavors now! Shucks...I wonder if they even have a huckleberry popsicle!"

"Everything you think about has to be related to huckleberries!" Jinks chuckled.

"Well, what could I say?" Huck said, laughing. "I love huckleberries! It's in my name after all!"

So Huck and Jinks got riding again, with Huck on his roller skates and Jinks on his bike, following Hokey on his unicycle. Soon after about seven minutes, they arrived at the beach. Snagglepuss and Pixie and Dixie were already there, enjoying some time together building a sandcastle.

"Hi, fellers!!" Huck called.

"We're here!" Jinks cried, ringing his bike bell.

"Huck, you made it!" Snag shouted.

"Come on over, Jinks!" Pixie yelled.

Hokey and Jinks hopped off their transports and joined the mice and the mountain lion. Huck removed his roller skates and placed them next to the cat's bike, then he joined them in the sand.

"It's a hot one today," he said, wiping the sweat off of his forehead. "Y'all want a popsicle? I'm buyin'!"

"You bet!" Dixie cried.

"Get me one too!" Snag added.

"Oh boy!!" Hokey cheered.

Huck nodded, then walked over to the popsicle stand and paid 12 cents for six popsicles, one for each of them. He bought them in a variety of flavors as well. Soon, the gang was licking their popsicles as they enjoyed the sunshine.

"It's too bad we didn't bring our swim trunks," Huck said. "But this will do!"

"Indeed! And we can still build a sandcastle!" Snag smiled. "We're off to a good start!"
