Huckleberry Hound and his friends were running down the street in their swim trunks, picnic baskets and beach blankets in hand as they made their way down to the beach for a day of fun in the sun. Huck had recently gotten a brand new sunhat to keep the sun off of his face, so he felt like it was a nice day to wear it.

"Race ya!" Mr. Jinks laughed.

"I can run faster than you!" Huck chuckled.

"Wait for me!" Snagglepuss called. "I can barely keep up with you guys!"

But as they were running, they noticed a young fellow standing behind a booth that read "Lemonade Stand".

"Lemonade! Only 25 cents a cup!" the boy called out.

The gang stopped running as they turned to the boy..

"Oh joy!" Hokey Wolf said. "Refreshing ice cold lemonade! Perfect for a summer's day!"

"And from the looks of it, you're doing very well for your business!" Huck smiled, looking at the boy.

"Thanks, Mr. Huckleberry! I'm trying to raise money to buy myself a new bike since my old one got wrecked."

Huck and the gang bought some lemonade from the boy's stand and kept walking as they drank their cold drinks.

"Mmmmmm! I love lemonade!" Huck beamed.

"Me too!" Snag agreed. "Tis' the perfect citrus concoction to quench one's thirst on a day as hot as this one!, methinks!"

They were just about to head directly to the beach when they heard the sound of crying.

"Uhhhh, what was that?" Dixie wondered.

"Sounds like someone's having a bad day!" Pixie observed.

The gang followed the sound down to the beach, where they made their way under the palm trees over to one of their favorite refreshment stands: Sonny's Citrus Shack. The owner, Sonny himself, was sobbing his eyes out over a half-empty pitcher of lemonade that he had left sitting on the counter.

"Sonny!" Huck cried. "What's wrong?"

"Oh, hi, Huck," Sonny replied halfheartedly, looking up. "What's wrong, you ask? Take a look!"

He pointed and the gang all turned their heads to look. Down the beach, past several other sundry shacks, there stood another lemonade stand, where a man who had quite an enormous girth, and a rather big nose with a twisty mustache was running about serving huge glasses of lemonade to a rather large crowd of beachgoers. A sign over the stand read: LEMON LOUIE'S: HOME OF THE BIGGEST GLASS OF LEMONADE IN HILL STREET NEIGHBORHOOD.

The gang let out gasps of shock.

"HUH!?" Huck cried out.

"I know!" Sonny sobbed. "My business is in danger thanks to Lemon Louie! If I don't make enough money, my stand is finished!" And he started sobbing all over again.

"Awwwww, Sonny," Huck said, giving Louie a hug. "Don't worry. We'll help you save your lemonade stand."

"Y-y-you will?" Sonny sniffled. "Oh, thank you, Huckleberry!"

"You mean we gotta take these swimming trunks off!?" Jinks cried. "Shucks! I was looking forward to swimming!"

"I thought cats didn't like the water!" Hokey joked.

"Ha, ha! Very funny!" Jinks grumbled.

"Worry not, gang! We'll get to splash and play in good time!" Huck assured them. "But first, we gotta help Sonny get back on his feet! We don't want our good friend to lose his lovely lemonade business! It's the best I've ever tasted!"
