One warm summer evening, Huckleberry Hound was spending a fun-filled night at the bowling alley with his friends Hokey Wolf, Pixie and Dixie and Snagglepuss. They were all enjoying a casual game, and they were currently on the fifth frame. Huck was up again and had taken a ball, lining up his shot and trying to see if he could land another strike.

"The best bowler in town is ol' Huckleberry Hound!" he said as he got ready.

"Give em' what you've got, Huck!" Hokey grinned.

"Okay, here goes!"

He got ready, and rolled his ball down the lane. It collided with the pins, knocking them all down!

"Yippee!!" he cheered. "I got another strike!"

"Way to go, Huck!" Hokey smiled. "Now let me try!"

The wolf was up next, and he rolled his ball. He hit all but one pin, but as he rolled again, he managed to pick up the spare.

"Ah, a spare!" he grinned. "Not bad!"

Snag was up after that. "I hope I can get a strike this time too!" he said. "Here goes!"

He then got ready to roll his ball. But his thumb got stuck in one of the holes. He got ready to roll, but instead, he flipped himself head over tail and face planted on the floor! He raised his head, feeling quite dazed.

"Heavens to Murgatroyd...what was that?" he groaned.

"I remember that old gag!" Huck chuckled. "It happened to me during the early days of my TV show!"

Pixie and Dixie scurried over and helped Snag up off the floor while Huck took him by his shoulders and stood him up.

"Thanks..." the mountain lion groaned. "Oooh, that smarts!"

"Just hold on," Huck told him. "We'll get you unstuck in a jiffy."

But while he and Hokey were trying to free Snag from the bowling ball, they heard a familiar voice call out to them.

"Huck! Fellas! There you are!"

Mr. Jinks had just entered the bowling alley and he was running toward them with something rolled up in his paw. It looked like a piece of paper of some sort.

"Jinks!" Hokey cried. "I thought you were at the studio!"

"I was! I came here with some important news for everyone!"

"But I thought our filming schedule was on pause!" Pixie said.

"The bosses said that we didn't have any new episodes to film until after June!" Dixie added.

"Well, if you meeces would give me a second to explain, I will!" Jinks grumbled. Then he unrolled the paper and showed it to the others. "The studio wants to put on a special local performance for publicity. They want to record it and then show it on prime time TV for a promotion! Only thing is, we need to help arrange it ourselves."

Huck, Hokey and Snag all glanced over the document explaining the details of the show's purpose.

"We only have two weeks to put it together?" Snag asked in disbelief.

Huck smiled. "Shuckins! Two weeks is plenty of time, Snag! Don't you worry your head none."

"We can ask our friends to help us too!" Pixie added.

"Yeah!" Dixie smiled. "I'm sure they'd be willing to help!"

"Well, they're going to anyway," Jinks said. "We're not the only ones who are gonna be in the show after all. Everyone's gonna be there."
