One beautiful spring day, Huckleberry Hound was sitting on a bench in the park, enjoying the sunshine and warmth. As of lately, he'd been learning to calm down when it came to big situations, and he wasn't bursting into big crying fits quite as much anymore when something really bad happened. He was learning to take things in stride, much the same way his family always did.

That was more important than ever, as his career thus far had been quite a roller coaster ride. He'd been on top of the world making it big in television, being one of the most popular stars on the small screen. But his old co-star, Yogi Bear, had gained quite a lot of popularity of his own, so much that Mr. Hanna and Mr. Barbera had given him his own show. Yogi's popularity was gaining steam, and starting to rival his own. Huck was still very successful though, with the help of his new co-stars Hokey Wolf and Ding-a-Ling.

And little did he know, fate was about to open up a brand new path for him when it came to his growing friendships with other animal stars in Hollywood! It all started one day when he didn't notice a moving van pass by. He was in the backyard, taking a dip in his pool and swimming some laps to help keep himself in shape. Then he slipped his straw hat on his head, and changed from his trunks back to his bow tie as he noticed something going on at the empty house next door.

"Well now, looks like today's moving day for somebody!" he said to himself as he grabbed his towel and dried himself off. "I'll have to remember to introduce myself later!"

He soon left home and decided to go for a walk into town. That's when he saw a poster for a big meet and greet at the theater. It was another one of those Hollywood gala events, and there were pictures of all sorts of famous movie stars who would be there. He started skipping, and singing happily, but he didn't see the moving van pass by. He was too wrapped up in his song.

"It's a wonderful, wonderful feeling, I've never felt this way before
Maybe luck is gonna come my way, somethin' fate has in store
With a blue sky above for a ceiling, my feet hardly touchin' the floor
I feel so happy the whole day long, feel like racin' around in song
There's a rainbow around my heart and it fits me like a glove."

Meanwhile, in another part of the neighborhood, Huck's old friend, Timmy Turtle was standing by a lamppost. Timmy never went to the engineering school that Huck attended before he moved to Hill Street Neighborhood. Rather, he and Huck had known each other when they were only little kids, and they had used to play together all the time. Timmy happened to be in California on vacation, and wondered if he'd run into his old friend. After all, he'd been watching him on TV!

But then, a pink mountain lion with a black bow tie, and a white collar with matching cuffs, came ambling along the corner.

"Ahh, what a day, what a day!" he said in a flamboyant voice. "The sun is shining, traffic is calm for once, what a refreshing change!" He soon saw Timmy, and walked up to him. "Excuse me," he said.

Timmy looked up and blinked at the mysterious pink stranger. "Oh, hey!" he replied, waving back. "Is there something I can help you with, sir?"

"Yes," the lion replied. "Do you know where the theater is?"

"Oh, which theater?" Timmy asked. "There are so many around here!"

"The big one with the fancy roof...the one with all the bright lights, even! The name escapes me, but I'd know it when I see it. I heard there's going to be a celebrity gala event there complete with a meet and greet!"

"Ohhh! You mean the Fleming Theater!" Timmy laughed.

"That's the one!" the lion exclaimed. "I just wanted to know how I could get there."
