Chapter 6

Jungkook POV

"So, I think you should know that the girls and I need one more member."

"Why is that?" I flipped the file in my hand.

"Yeah, I feel something's off with..." Jennie noona looked around and whispered, "Jinny..."

"What about her?"

"I mean, ever since she claimed you're hers, she's become incredibly arrogant. There have been several times when the four of us were on a mission together, and she just refused to cooperate."

"Do you have any idea how long and complicated it is for us to find another person?" I coldly replied.

"Yeah, I know. But still..."

"First of all, I don't have feelings for Jinny. It was just a night when I was drunk as hell. I can't even remember anything."

"I know Jungkook ssi, but if she jeopardizes our mission, I might do something that I won't regret, for the sake of my other girls."

"Do whatever you like, I don't care about her."

"Right, thank you."

"Anything else?"

"No, that's all..."

"Ah, I almost forgot. Tonight, come with me, Jimin hyung, Tae hyung, to the nightclub. I thought your skills might come in handy."

"Yes, don't worry, I won't fail you." I nodded, and she proceeded to leave the room.

I read the files in my hand; there's personal information, as well as details about the mission we're about to undertake tonight. 

Chaeyoung POV

"Hey, Mingyu ssi? Are you here?" I called out as I entered the apartment, searching for his presence.

Mingyu's voice came from the living room, "Hey, Chaeyoung! I'm right here. What's going on?"

"I've got some incredible news to share. I'm finally free from all that mess with Ms. Young."

"Wow, that's fantastic, Chaeyoung! I'm so happy for you!"

"Thanks, it's been a tough journey."

Mingyu's face lit up, "We should definitely celebrate this! How about we go to a nightclub tonight? It's been ages since we had a proper night out."

I smiled, liking the idea. "You're reading my mind. A night out sounds perfect, especially after all this stress."

"Excellent! I'll let the others know. Get ready for a memorable night, Chaeyoung!"

As I settled in, the anticipation of a fun night with friends made me feel a sense of excitement. It had been a while since I'd had a chance to enjoy myself, and with my friends by my side, I knew it was going to be a fantastic evening.

Little did I know, the night was about to take a drastic turn, bringing unexpected events that would impact both me and someone else in ways we couldn't foresee.
