Jungkook POV
I don't do relationship, especially with my role as a mafia heir. I can have other woman easily, but i choose not to, because the work that I've done is dangerous. All I'm saying is, i don't want distraction for the work that i do. But this red hair woman right here, she makes me forgot why I'm here. I was supposed to look around and find some people that do a secret transaction.
I kept my cool demeanor, not giving away the fact that this woman was different. Her confidence and aura intrigued me, a challenge I couldn't easily dismiss. As the night continued, our conversation became a subtle dance, a game of wits that I found surprisingly enjoyable.
"I must admit," I said, leaning in a bit closer, "you've got me curious. What brings someone like you to a place like this?"
She smiled, a sly glint in her eyes. "Can't a woman enjoy her life?" She sipped her drink, and God i wonder how it feels if my tongue slide through her throat.
I chuckled, appreciating her playful response. "Of course, you can, it's just that you seem a bit too... intriguing for an ordinary night out." I paused, letting the implication hang in the air.
She raised an eyebrow, the challenge mirrored in her expression. "Perhaps I'm seeking a little excitement, something beyond the ordinary. Aren't you here for the same reason?"
I couldn't help but smile at her directness. "Touché. It's not every day I meet someone who can hold my attention like you do."
"Is that so? Maybe I just have a talent for capturing the interest of enigmatic strangers," she replied, a spark of mischief in her eyes.
Chaeyoung POV
"Right, i think that's my cue to go." I stood up, adjusting my dress.
"Let me take you home," the stranger said. I then smirked at him and walked towards him until I was only inches away from his face, then I whispered, "No need, thanks. I've got my own way of getting around."
He looked slightly taken aback by my boldness, but a playful smile spread across his lips. "Fair enough. Until next time then?"
"Who knows?" I replied with a wink, then turned and walked away, leaving him with a sense of mystery. As I made my way through the night, I couldn't help but smile, knowing that our encounter had left an impression on both of us, a fleeting connection in the midst of the unpredictable world we inhabited.
Jungkook POV
My eyes were still on her until her figure faded away into the bustling crowd, leaving me with a lingering sense of intrigue. There was something different about her, something that stirred a mix of emotions within me. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but I knew I wanted to see her again.
"Ah, you didn't take her home? That's a shame." I could hear Jimin hyung talking as he walked towards me.
"Nah, but I have a feeling I'll see her again."
"What makes you say that?"
"Call it a hunch." I smirked, feeling a strange sense of excitement while sipping my drink.
"Right, Tae and Jennie are waiting for you in the back." I regained my composure and headed back with Jimin hyung.
As I joined Tae and Jennie in the back, the scene was already set. The captives, the ones holding crucial information we needed, were securely restrained. Taehyung had his own way of making them talk, a blend of intimidation and persuasion that usually worked like a charm.
"Jungkook, glad you're here," Taehyung grinned, his usual mischievous expression. "We've been getting some interesting tidbits from our guests."
Jennie, on the other hand, was focused and determined, extracting information with precision. Her skills in interrogation were unmatched, and she had a reputation for getting what she needed.
I took a moment to assess the situation. The room was dimly lit, and the captives looked nervous, sweat glistening on their foreheads. I approached one of them, staring directly into his eyes.
"You know what we're after," I said coldly, my voice carrying a subtle hint of authority. "I suggest you cooperate. It'll be much easier for everyone if you do."
"We won't say anything to you..." I scoffed hearing that.
"Really well then..." I shoot him in the head, while his friend tremble in fear.
"Well then, tell me about this organization. I know how you guys steal my goods by hijacking on of my yacht. Where the fuck is my yacht? Where is it?!" I yelled and Jennie noona slit his cheeks with a knife, he groaned in pain. He then tells me the location, how they did it, and the people involved were all revealed to me. I couldn't help but feel a twisted sense of satisfaction at extracting this vital information.
After obtaining all the necessary intel, I gave a subtle nod to Taehyung and Jennie, signaling them to take care of the situation. I didn't want to leave any unnecessary witnesses behind. As they efficiently carried out their task in the dimly lit back alley of the nightclub, I remained vigilant, focused on maintaining our secrecy and ensuring the safety of our operation.
The night had been a rollercoaster of events, from the encounter with the enigmatic red-haired woman to this intense interrogation. It was a stark reminder of the high stakes we faced in our line of work. Every decision, every piece of information, could determine our success or failure.
As the back alley returned to silence, I turned to Jimin, who had been overseeing the operation with his usual unwavering resolve. "Clean up this area," I instructed firmly, "leave no evidence behind."
Jimin acknowledged my order with a nod, and I left the scene, my mind a whirlwind of thoughts. I couldn't shake the memory of that woman, the way she had captivated my attention even in the midst of this chaos. I couldn't predict when or how our paths might cross again, but I was certain there was more to our encounter than mere chance.
