Jungkook POV

I actually lent her my room because we didn't have any other rooms left. If only someone would leave this house, she'd probably have a room to herself. But wait, why am I thinking that far ahead? It's not like she's going to live here with me. I don't even know her name yet.

As I settled into my own thoughts, I realized I was overthinking things. After all, it was just a temporary arrangement. She would heal, she would move on, and our paths would likely never cross again. But there was something about her presence that lingered in my mind, something that I couldn't easily dismiss.

I settled to sleep in my study room, but my feet betrayed me. Before I could realize, I was walking again to my room. I saw her sleeping peacefully. I looked at her and admired her. She looked like a serene angel, her features softened in sleep, her breathing calm.

I sighed, feeling conflicted. What was it about her that made me want to stay close, to protect her? It was as if fate had brought us together, for what purpose I couldn't yet fathom.

As the night wore on, I found myself unable to tear my gaze away from her. The moonlight cast a gentle glow on her face, and I was struck by the vulnerability she exhibited in her sleep. The weight of her troubles seemed to fade away for the moment, leaving only the fragile beauty of the woman before me.

Eventually, exhaustion caught up with me, and I settled into a nearby sofa. I allowed myself to close my eyes, but even in my dreams, her image remained imprinted in my mind. It was as if a connection had formed, and I couldn't escape its pull.

Little did I know that our paths were about to become even more entangled, and the events that were about to unfold would challenge everything I thought I knew about myself and the world I lived in.

Rosé POV

I woke up and blinked as the morning light filtered into the room. As I shifted, I noticed him sleeping soundly on the sofa across from me. His features were relaxed in sleep, his hair falling gently over his forehead. It was a stark contrast to the serious and guarded aura he usually projected. For a moment, I found myself just watching him, my mind wandering through the events that had brought us here.

A slight smile tugged at the corners of my lips as I realized how unexpected this situation was. I didn't even know his name until now, and yet here we were, sharing a room under these circumstances. Despite his tough exterior, there was a sense of vulnerability that sleep revealed, a side of him that few probably saw.

I quietly got out of bed, careful not to disturb him. As I stood there, I felt a mixture of gratitude and curiosity. He had saved me, protected me, and even though he tried to keep his distance, there was something about him that drew me in.

Taking a deep breath, I decided to head to the kitchen to prepare some breakfast. It was the least I could do to express my thanks. And maybe, just maybe, I could learn more about the enigmatic man who had entered my life in such an unexpected way.

I joined the girls in the kitchen, their cheerful chatter filling the space as they worked together to prepare breakfast. I greeted them with a smile and a warm "good morning," feeling a sense of camaraderie in their presence. Despite the unusual circumstances that had brought us together, there was a sense of unity that formed among us.

"Good morning, Rose!" Jisoo unnie greeted me, her eyes sparkling with energy. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah, surprisingly," I replied with a small chuckle. "It's a relief to be able to rest properly."

Jennie unnie flashed me a friendly smile as she set some plates on the table. "You're in good hands here. We're like a little family."

Lisa nodded in agreement. "Exactly. We look out for each other."
