Jungkook POV
I rushed her to my house with the assistance of Jin hyung and Jisoo noona. The fact that someone who seemed to be targeting me had harmed her was infuriating beyond words. Anger coursed through my veins as I vowed to track down the person responsible and eliminate them on the spot. This was a line that should never have been crossed.
"How is she, hyung?" I've been waiting anxiously for her to wake up.
"Don't worry, Jungkook. She's stable now," Jin hyung reassured me as we stood outside the room where she was resting. "The wound wasn't too deep, and Jisoo took care of it. She just needs some time to recover."
I let out a sigh of relief, my tension easing slightly. "Thanks, hyung. I just can't believe someone would go after her like that."
"Yeah, it's a dangerous world we're in," Jin hyung replied, his expression serious. "We'll need to be even more cautious from now on."
I nodded in agreement, my determination growing stronger. No one would hurt her again, not if I had anything to say about it.
Rosé POV
I woke up feeling a sting in my right shoulder. At first, everything around me was blurred, but after a while, I could see clearly what was surrounding me. I think I'm in someone's room, with an IV in my hand. Suddenly, I looked to my right and saw a familiar face – the guy from the nightclub, the one who'd been trying to get my attention. He was sitting there, sleeping in the chair.
I tried to sit up, but a sharp sting in my shoulder made me wince. It seemed I was still in pain from whatever had happened. I carefully shifted and managed to prop myself up on the pillows, letting out a soft sigh as I looked around the unfamiliar room. The guy was still asleep in the chair, and I couldn't help but wonder how long he had been there.
As I contemplated getting up and moving around, the guy's eyes suddenly fluttered open. Our eyes met, and for a moment, a strange tension hung in the air between us. Then, he got up from the chair and walked over to me, cupping my face gently in his hands.
"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice soft and concerned. "Please sit down... Don't rush things." His words were soothing, and I could sense the genuine worry in his tone. I hesitated for a moment before carefully nodding and sitting back down on the bed, giving in to the pain in my shoulder.
"What happened..." I asked, my voice still a bit groggy from the effects of whatever had transpired.
"You got shot... I'm sorry," he replied with a remorseful look in his eyes. His hand still gently cradled my face as if he wanted to make sure I was real and safe. My mind was struggling to piece together the events, the pain in my shoulder now making more sense.
"Why are you the one saying sorry to me...? You didn't do anything wrong." He looked down, guilt evident in his eyes. I put my hand on top of his, which still cupped my face, reassuring him that there was nothing for him to worry about.
"I promise I'll find whoever did this to you. They'll be sorry for this. For now, please get some rest. You're safe here." I nodded, and he helped me lie back down on the bed.
Jungkook POV
I sat beside her and waited until she fell asleep. Then, I tiptoed out of the room and met up with my members. I looked around and instructed Jisoo noona, Jennie noona, and Lisa to accompany the blonde woman and protect her at all costs. Meanwhile, the rest of us would focus on finding the person who shot her.
We immediately went into action, using all available resources to track down the person who had targeted her and find out how they knew about her. The safety of my group and the people close to us was always a top priority. It was time to unravel the mystery and make sure justice was served.
