Jungkook POV
"So, what do you do for a living?" She asked, her eyes filled with curiosity.
I leaned back slightly, taking a sip of my drink before responding. "Well, I'm part of a business group, involved in various ventures." I kept my answer intentionally vague, not wanting to reveal too much about my true activities.
She raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Business group, huh? That sounds interesting. Any particular area you focus on?"
I offered a small smile. "A bit of everything, really. Entertainment, fashion, technology – you name it."
She chuckled softly. "Sounds like you keep busy."
I nodded. "Yeah, it can get pretty hectic. But I enjoy the challenges."
I leaned in slightly, intrigued by her response. "What about you, mystery girl? What do you do?" I asked with a playful grin, curious to learn more about her.
"Well, I work for my uncle," she replied, taking a sip of her drink. Her gaze shifted elsewhere, as if she was contemplating something deeper. There was a certain guardedness about her, a layer that she wasn't ready to reveal just yet. I decided to respect that and shifted the topic to something lighter. "You know, I never thought I'd see you again after that night in the nightclub. Fate has a funny way of bringing people together."
"Yeah, me neither. What's your hobby?"
"What? My hobby?" I chuckled, slightly taken aback by her question.
"Yeah, what is it?"
Shooting and killing people that invade my mafia territory? Nah, not going to say that to her. I'll just say something random.
I raised an eyebrow, amused by her straightforwardness. "Well, I guess I enjoy singing, dancing, you know, the usual stuff. Oh, and I like working out too."
She smiled, seemingly intrigued. "Singing and dancing? That's interesting. I wouldn't have guessed that."
I shrugged playfully. "Yeah, I guess there's more to me than meets the eye."
She chuckled softly, her eyes twinkling with a mix of curiosity and something else I couldn't quite place. "Can you sing me something then?"
"Pardon? No, I'm not that good."
"Aw come on, Kookie ya..." She pleaded with me, and I finally let out a sigh.
I gave in to her playful persistence and cleared my throat, feeling a mixture of nervousness and amusement. "Alright, alright. Just this once." I took a moment to think and then started singing a soft, acoustic rendition of a popular song, it's 'Until I Found You'. My voice was steady, and I focused on the melody, letting the words flow.
As I sang, I noticed a spark of mischief in Rosé's eyes. And then, unexpectedly, she joined in, her voice blending seamlessly with mine. It was as if the music had woven a connection between us, bridging the gap that often existed between strangers. I couldn't help but smile as she sang along, her voice carrying a unique charm that resonated with the melody.
Our voices intertwined, creating a beautiful harmony that filled the rooftop. And then, almost as if it was the most natural thing in the world, I stood up and extended my hand toward her. With a playful glint in my eye, I invited her to dance.
Without hesitation, she stood up and took my hand, letting me lead the way. We moved slowly at first, our steps matching the rhythm of the song. Our eyes remained locked onto each other, and it felt like the rest of the world had faded away, leaving just the two of us in this moment.
As the song continued, our movements became more fluid and spontaneous. We twirled and swayed, the rooftop turning into our private dance floor. The city lights around us seemed to dance along, creating a magical backdrop to our impromptu performance.
With every step and every twirl, I felt a growing connection between us. It was as if the music had brought us together in a way that words never could. Our voices rose and fell, carrying the emotions of the song and our unspoken feelings.
As the final notes of the song played, our dance came to a graceful halt. Our eyes remained locked, and the atmosphere was charged with an electric energy. The world had faded away, and all that remained was the undeniable connection between us. Without needing to say a word, we leaned in, and our lips met in a soft, tender kiss – a moment that felt like the perfect ending to our enchanting night.
