Rose POV
We make our way back to the hotel, hand in hand, with the sound of the ocean still echoing in my ears. The warmth of Jungkook's hand in mine feels different tonight—deeper, more intense. There's a charged silence between us, like words aren't enough to capture what we're both feeling after everything that happened on the beach. The way he kissed me, the way he looked at me—it was raw, unguarded, and real.
I can feel my heart racing as we enter the hotel lobby. The lights are dim, and the soft hum of music drifts through the air. There's something electric about the moment, a sense of anticipation that neither of us can ignore. Jungkook's hand tightens slightly around mine as we head toward the elevator, the weight of what's unspoken lingering between us.
Once inside the elevator, the doors slide shut with a quiet hiss. I glance up at him, my pulse quickening at the sight of his intense gaze. His eyes lock onto mine, dark and full of desire, but there's something else there too—something vulnerable.
"Rose," he murmurs, his voice low, "you sure about this?"
I know what he's asking. We've just confessed our feelings for each other, opened up in ways neither of us expected. This moment feels like the natural next step, but he wants to be certain, to know that I'm ready.
I don't hesitate, stepping closer to him, closing the small distance between us. "I've never been more sure about anything," I whisper, my lips brushing against his ear, feeling his breath hitch.
His hand moves to my waist, pulling me closer as his lips find mine in a kiss that's slow, deliberate, and filled with everything we've held back for so long. My fingers tangle in his hair, and I can feel the heat between us building, rising with every second. The elevator stops with a soft ding, but neither of us moves, too lost in the kiss, too lost in each other.
Finally, we pull away, and he looks at me with an expression that sends a shiver down my spine. "Let's go," he says, his voice rough with desire.
We step out of the elevator, and the walk to the room feels like a blur—every step filled with a tension that pulls us closer together. By the time we reach the door, my heart is pounding in my chest, anticipation coursing through my veins. Jungkook fumbles with the key card for only a second before the door swings open, and we're inside, the soft click of the door shutting behind us sealing us in this moment.---
Jungkook POV
The moment the door closes, I can't hold back any longer. Everything I've felt for Rose, everything I've been holding in, it all comes rushing to the surface. I turn to her, my hand sliding to the back of her neck as I kiss her again, deeper this time, more urgent.
She responds immediately, her hands on my chest, and I can feel the heat of her body pressing against mine. I back her up slowly, until she's against the wall, my hands traveling down her sides, memorizing every curve.
"Rose," I whisper against her lips, "I don't think I can stop."
"Then don't," she breathes, and those words are all I need to hear.
We stumble toward the bed, shedding clothes as we go, the space between us disappearing in a haze of passion and need. The air is thick with the sound of our breaths, the feel of her skin against mine setting every nerve on fire.
I lower her gently onto the bed, hovering over her for a moment, just taking her in. The way her hair fans out against the pillow, the way her chest rises and falls as she gazes up at me with that soft, beautiful expression—like I'm the only thing that matters in the world.
"I've wanted this for so long," I admit, my voice rough with honesty.
She smiles, pulling me down to her. "Me too."
The night stretches on, each moment blurring into the next as we give ourselves to each other completely. Every touch, every kiss is filled with all the things we've left unsaid, every ounce of desire we've kept buried beneath the surface. There's something deeper than just passion—there's a connection, something that feels like more than I ever thought I could have.
For the first time, I let myself forget everything else. I forget about my responsibilities, about the life I lead, and I just focus on her—on us. And for the first time, it feels like I've truly let go.
