"Have u told August yet,?" Nicki said putting he bags in the trunk.
"No and i dont plan on it"
"Girl he has to know"
"And he will when i get ready, its alot for me to take in to nicki" i said putting my seatbelt on "Ok i just want it to be out there cause we been down this road and i don't want you to get hurt because its to much for him to deal with" "I know i will tell him on my time can we just change the subject" i said turning into the driveway.

We set in silence i was getting my stuff together and getting out the car i was really missing August. I unlocked the door and the smell of his cologne lingered in the air.. I flopped down on the sofa covering myself up in August saints blanket. My phone went off. I reached in my purse grabbing it. "Hello" i said in the phone. "Hey baby, i just wanted to hear your voice before i laid down" "Aww, august" i could tell he was smiling through the phone. "What you doin?" "Nothin just got back from picking up my sis from the airport"
"Oh, when i get back there something i would like to talk to you about" i instantly got nervous. "Ok me too, i have to tell you something too" we talked for a few and got off the phone. ----------------------------
"Candy, are you ok" she said knocking on the door. I was hovered over the toilet throwing up. I was in pain, my body was weak and tired. "Yea I'm okay" i yelled back. Who am I kidding i was vomiting what felt like my insides. I set on the bathroom floor crying. I have to go through this process again five years later. I got up and got my stuff ready i had a doctors appointment to see how bad or not so bad the cancer was and figure out the best treatment. "You ready sis" Nicki said walking in the room. "No" i said sitting at the edge of the bed "Whatever it is we will fight it together" she kneeled down giving me a slight smile. "I'm scared" i broke down in her arms
"We are going to be fine, your going to be fine" she said pulling out some tissue wiping my eyes.
We drove to the doctors office and went and waited in the lobby to be called. "Candice Anderson, the doctors ready for you" the nurse said my sister and I got up and went to the room and the doctor came in.
"Hello candice, and this is" "My sister Nicki, Nicki Dr.Harvey" they shook hands greeting one another.
"Candice, as you know that when cancer returns it returns more aggressive than before, I looked at your chart and compared them to your new chart and for this particular situation Chemo is the best way to treat it, we will be able to kill the cancer since its growing around a very important nerve i cannot do the surgery"
I couldn't speak i wasn't prepared for this a girl at 23 shouldn't be fighting to live she should be living. "Ok" i sighed i felt my sister grab my hand. "I want to schedule for chemo next week, a week from today" he said. "Ok thank you so much, will we come to this location for treatment?" Nicki asked "Yes my nurse will give you guys all the info you need". We got my appointment for next week with the time and location. I set silent in the car all the way home.

I been in bed all day laying down Nicki made dinner and straighten up the house August was coming back today and i was excited and afraid to talk to him. I didnt know what i should say or how i should say it. I laid in the bed i left the room dark i was crying all day. I heard the bedroom door open and August walked in. "Why you in the dark baby" he said walking in with his luggage turning on the light. Moments later Nicki came in the room
"Sis i made you your fav Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and broccoli". I'm not hungry". "You have to eat something". She walked passed August putting the tray of food on the nightstand. "Oh this is your sister" august interjected.
I waved back pointing to both of them not saying anything. "Hi I'm Nicki" she said "What it do" he said
" I will be downstairs if you need me Candy, I will give you guys your privacy" she said walking out the room. I felt August get in the bed with me, pulling me to him. "Whats wrong you not hungry? It smells good" he said playing with my hair.
"I'm not hungry" "Lets eat a little your sister made your fav and it will get cold just take a few bites for me please" he made this face i couldn't help but smile.
"Ok" i said getting up.
He grabbed the plate and forked some of everything and fed it to me. We both set Indian style on the bed. he had me eat the whole plate. August got the plate sitting it on the nightstand. "How you feeling, how was the show" i asked laying back down. "It was coo drama, but i don't wanna talk bout that" he said laying next to me turning on his side facing me playing in my hair.
"What did you do while i was away" "I did this".Nothin just lay in daddy bed" he smiled
"Yes, some what i had a doctors appointment" "Oh you pregnant" he rubbed my stomach playfully.
"No stupid" i pushed his hands away
"Candice i wanted to talk to you about something" his face got a little serious. I leaned in kissing him. "Baby can it wait" i kept kissing his lips getting on top of him. He looked up at me licking his lips placing both hands on both sides of my hips. "Whatever you wont" he moved one hand intertwining it with my hand. I took my shirt off leaning towards him kissing him once more.
He reached behind me unhooking my bra dropping it to the floor. "Make love to me" i whispered in his ear. He picked me up turning me over on my back. "Whatever you want" he said placing kisses on my collarbone. A tear fell from the corner of my eye. August made his way down to my inner thighs kissing every part of my body not neglecting anything. He hovered over me sliding inside of me using slow and steady motions. I looked him in his eyes as he did mine. His breathing was irregular as he sped up a little. I felt myself reaching my peek when he stopped. Looking down at me as i looked up at him. "I love you" he said above a whisper. I looked at him in shock in aww. It crossed my mind but if i say it back and tell him that I'm sick will he leave me. I laid there and the tears fell more then before. "I cant do this" i said moving getting up out the bed. He looked confused. "Whats wrong" he said getting out the bed with nothing on following me. I just cried more as he moved closer to me."August I can't" he wrapped his long arms around me. "Baby if you're not ready to say it that is fine, but I love you" "I'm scared your going to not want me" i cried in his shoulder. "Look at me" he gently lifted up my chin. " you have showed me more love more loyalty then any person or family has showed me since i met you, and for that i will never leave you" he kissed my lips. "No this is different" "How, and it will not change anything" "August I'm very sick" "And you will get better its just a cold" "No August I have Cancer" his eyes looked shocked and sad. "When you find out" "I had it when i was younger and fought it, it wasn't supposed to come back and here it is five years later.August I'm so scared" "Baby don't worry i will be right here by your side" he started to tear up he hugged me tight and i cried hard in his shoulder. "We'll beat this together" he rubbed my back. ------------
"Babe!! You seen my" "In the bottom drawer" "I aint even finish my sentence" "I know you August," i said walking over to him kissing him. "You know thats kinda stalkerish, ya know" "What!, you watch me sleep now thats creepy, you like sitting in the bathroom on the toilet when I'm taking a bath" "So you jus goin to play me like that Candice," he stood with his shirt in his hands straight facing me. "August but its true your a little weirdo" I reached for him hugging him. "Now you making up stuff" he kissed me. "Okay"

"I'll be that and i dont care for internet thugs" i stuck my tongue out. I was about to walk out the room when he pulled me to him kissing me again.

"Oh really you going to get your goons on me little ole me?" "Maybe am I still a creep and a weirdo" "I dunno depends" i said wrapping my arms around his neck. "AYO AUG COME ON MAN THE GAME BOUT TO START" Era yelled from downstairs.
" get ya stuff before we never leave for this game" he said kissing me. "Oh cause the game is important" i said putting his hands on my ass. "You gon get me in trouble" he said looking at me licking his lips. "your point" i said pulling at his shirt. "AUG ITS BOUT TO START MAN" Era yelled again.
