Chapter 7: Nightmares

School ended, and you got out your class, wanting to go home and lay down on your bed.

At the path, you heard someone shouting about being the Number one hero.
You saw that it was Midoriya and Bakugo. Midoriya looked anxious, and Bakugo was..crying?
It was odd seeing someone as him crying.

All might suddenly appeared and hugged Bakugo, but he pushed him, walking away.

You were curious, but chose to not disturb them, so you just put your headsets on, and started walking, to go home.

You had other things to think about.

Since you moved away after the incident, your house was pretty far away. It took about an hour to walk home.

You turned around a corner of the path, and saw a familiar back and ash blonde hair.

It was Bakugo, he was walking with his hands in his pockets.

You just walked behind him, not wanting to get noticed.

But he turned around, hearing your footsteps.

"What the fuck? Are you stalking me or what?"
He said.

"Why would I even stalk you? This is the fastest way to go home, so I was just taking it."
You answered, taking your headset off and placing it around your neck.

You just fast-walked and passed him, but then felt a hand grip your wrist and suddenly got pulled backwards.

Bakugo had pulled you, and then he pushed you to a wall. He slapped his right hand next to your face, on the wall.
"Listen here, Headset."

"Headset? That's a new name." You said, not scared, Bakugo's threat(?) didn't work.

"I'm not fucking joking right now. I'm going to beat that nerd Deku, and everyone else, and that will also mean you too. I'm going to be better than All Might and be the Number 1 hero!"

"Good luck with that."
You said, not interested and turned away.
"Hey! I'm not done here!!"

"Well I am. Try and beat me next time. But I'm not going easy on you. I want to be better than All Might too, but I'm not striving to be Number 1, like you."
You said.

"Huh? You want to beat All Might, but you don't want to be Number 1? What the fuck does that mean?" He asked, half angry and half curious.

"...nothing." You started walking away.

Bakugo just stood there for a while, looking at you getting further away.

"..."

You idolized All Might too, and wanted to be a hero like him.

After your brother escaped, you couldn't.
So you waited for a hero to come save you.
You waited for All Might.

But no one.

There was no hero that came to save you.

All For One ordered to torture you, and when you died of pain, Reverse used her quirk to get you back alive.

Everyday was a nightmare.

You at last, escaped on your own, somehow, and decided two stuff.

First, You're going to have revenge.
Second, That you're not going to be a hero like that. You're going to notice and protect the
ones who are in real pain.

Nowadays heroes are fake.

No one realized when you were in danger.
No one came to save you.
No one...

The reason why you want to beat All Might.
You wanted to get revenge to All For One for those 11 months, and the death of your friends.
And also the the pain your family and the others got because of him and his team, the Shigaraki crew.

Be better than All Might, and kill the man HE failed to get rid of.

That was now your goal, and plan.
But to beat All Might, you have to beat everyone else.

You looked around your room, noticing the clock on your desk.

Already 12am.

You had to sleep for tomorrow.

"I hope I don't get another nightmare.." you mumbled as you laid down on your bed.

"Y/n...Help!!"

"Please save us!"

"It's your fault!! I don't want to die!"

"Help me...Please.."

"You're the key to my plan to success. Shigaraki, torture her unitil she says yes to our offer."

"I get to see more young blood?? Today's my lucky day!"

"If she doesn't accept our offer, everyday will be your lucky day, Reverse."

'Did I kill Reverse..?'
'What did I do..?'

"Now's not the time..I have to escape before Shigaraki finds out..!"

Your eyes shot open.
You were sweating hard, it was another nightmare.
It was more of a flashback than a nightmare though.

3:00am.
You couldn't sleep.
You had these sort of nightmares everyday.
It was one of the reasons you couldn't forget the things that happened to you.

You were scared to go back to sleep.
You were scared that you'll see the resentful looks on your friends's faces before they got killed.
You were scared that you'll get tortured again if caught.
You felt mad. Rage filled your body.
You were mad that they made you like this.

'Why me?'

'Out of all these people, why does it have to be me?'

You put your headsets on and listened to music.
Music was the only thing that relaxed you, made you less stressed out.

"Fuck my life..."
