You opened your eyes, as the warm sunlight shined on you, as you were laid down on the bed beside the window.

You quietly stood up and shook your arms, making the numb feeling go away.

'How long have I been asleep..?'
You walked over at the end of the room, where there was a mirror hung on the wall.

You looked in the mirror, and saw yourself- your head and cheeks were wrapped in bandages, same with your arms and legs.

"We're sorry Y/n. But we didn't mean a word we said."

You started to remember everything before you passed out and smiled a little.

'I should go back to the dorms and talk with them..'
You thought, sighing- a relieved sigh.

"*Clank!*"

You heard the door open, and there revealed Recovery girl, as she froze- surprised seeing you.

"L/n! Finally you're awake! You've been sleeping for a week even though there was actually nothing wrong with your body, only some wounds and injuries that didn't give harm to your life."

"A week? No wonder my whole body felt numb when I woke up."

"Yes, you should head back to the dorms now after I explain some things about your injuries."
She walked over to a cabinet nearby, and took out a few photos.

"I took some X-rays and got some photos showing your bones."
She held up one of the photos, which was your hands.
"As you can see, nothing is broken or cracked. But there's something strange."

You looked closer, and saw that it was glowing a bit.

"It's glowing?"

"Yes. Unlike other people's bones, they're glowing. I think that it's your quirk that affected it."

"What did it do, what matters?"
You asked.

"Listen more. Before you woke up, I found your whole body glowing- just like your bones. It's your quirk, probably, but your aura wasn't circling you like usual. I presume that your quirk is beginning to gain ground. It's getting powerful, probably affected by your experience of fighting off villains like that."

"So it's a good thing."

"Yes it is, but as much as it's getting more powerful, you have to get a lot of rest. You have a high chance of passing out if you use too much of your quirk for now."
She said.

"You may go now, surprise your classmates. They've been waiting for you to wake up for a long time- they visited a lot. Especially that angry blonde boy."
She sighed.

"You mean Bakugo? The explosive guy?"
You chuckled a bit.

"Yes. Him. He visited almost everyday, and stayed for hours. I never saw him calm like that since forever."
She smiled, as your cheeks tinted a bit pink.

'He visited me that much? Why?'

"Yeah, I should go now. Thank you, Recovery girl." You said, as you walked out of her office.

The sun was setting now, the sky was painted orange and red.

Your once heavy heart was now light as a feather, and you felt the weight on your shoulders were now gone a bit.

You sighed and looked up the sky.

"Alright U.A., I'm back."

———

You walked to the class 1-A dorms, and stopped your tracks right in front of the door.

It felt like you've been gone for more than a year.
