Chapter 81: Calm before the storm

Your eyes widened.

You opened your mouth to say something, but nothing came out.

The hospital worker said some other stuff and said that she would hang up, and she did.

You didn't move an inch and stayed still.

Your phone was still in your hand, as your eyes started to shake.

"Y/n, are you done calling?"

Midoriya called your name as he walked over to you and tapped your shoulder from behind, making you turn around, showing your panicking phase.

"Y/n?! What's with that expression??  What's wrong??"

He started to panic more than you.

Bakugo and Todoroki noticed this and they ran to you.

"What's wrong, Why are you panicking?? Are you alright??" Bakugo also started to panic a bit as he tried to calm you down by patting your cheeks and hugging you.

"What did you do, Deku?!" He suddenly shouted at Midoriya.

"I didn't do anything!!"

"I don't think it's because of him."

Todoroki said.

"Or.. are you sick..?? You said that you were tired before!"

He said.

"No..I-I'm fine." You stuttered, as Bakugo kept hugging you and patted your head.

"It's just that..- the call from the hospital.., my mom.."

You couldn't talk well because of the shock, but at last you managed to talk.

"My mom... she woke up from her coma."

Their eyes widened.

"That's good!! It's really good, you should go now and meet her...!"

Midoriya said as he smiled widely.

"You made me worry..."

Bakugo sighed as he ruffled your hair a bit.

"I didn't know that Bakugo was kind like this... is he sick too...?!"

Todoroki said with a bit concern in his tone, and Midoriya laughed as Bakugo's veins popped.

"Hah?! I'm always kind!"

"Anyways, shouldn't you go now?"

Todoroki ignored Bakugo's shouting, and you nodded.

"Yeah..I should.."

You managed to stop panicking.

"I'll text Endeavor about this, so that we're going to go to the hospital by taxi so his driver doesn't have to take us back to the dorms."
