Chapter 56: Take her away

You were walking down the halls of U.A.

You had stayed for more after school, studying for the exams.

You were about to head back home, when suddenly you heard some teachers' voices in a office.

Usually you would pass them, not caring.

But this time, somehow you wanted to hear about what they were talking about.

You hid behind the door, as you listened quietly of what they were talking about.

"Nomus. We found several different DNAs in one Nomu."
A voice said.

"Does that mean.. a Nomu is created by someone, with different peoples?"
A different voice asked.

"Of what we had discovered, that's a yes. But they weren't made of living people, they were made of bodies. Someone is reviving dead humans and augmenting them with multiple useful Quirks, making them powerful- and difficult to defeat."

"Do you know who is doing this?"

"We haven't figured that out yet, but as you know, it's probably someone from the league of villains. There could be someone-hiding-not showing themselves when the league appears, but is helping them behind. We know it's not Shigaraki Tomura, nor Dabi, Toga, Twice, Compress, and Spinner."

"How about Kurogiri?"

"Kurogiri... we are thinking that he's not the one who's making the Nomus too, but maybe he's a Nomu himself. We haven't figured much, we'll keep up the research."

"Alright, thank you for your time."

You heard footsteps coming towards the door you were hiding behind, so you quickly ran away, not getting noticed by the teachers.

You sighed in relief, but soon got lost in thought.

'The Nomua are made of bodies..?'

Your eyes widened, as they shaked.

The shock you felt was breathtaking.

You couldn't move your body, you just stood in front of the Nomu, frozen.

Your quirk deactivated without yourself knowing, as the ivory aurora circling your body disappeared.

"L/n. What are you doing? Attack the Nomu!"
Madam president's workers said to your earbuds.

The Nomu growled, as it flew towards you, and stabbed your shoulder with it's spikes, and you were thrown backwards to a building wall.

You crashed your back on the wall, as it cracked.

You clenched your teeth, as blood dropped from your stabbed shoulder, and hands.

You managed to stand back up, but you were still in shock.

You couldn't attack the Nomu.

You couldn't attack your friends.

Your eyes filled with fear and shock, and unknown emotions.

"L/n! We repeat, attack the Nomu! You are not following our orders!"
They shouted from your earbuds, but you couldn't hear them.

You couldn't hear anything from the wave of shock you had gotten.

"SCREEEECH!!"
The Nomu screeched, as it suddenly turned away from you.

It started to run towards a crowd of people who couldn't run away fast enough, as it was about to attack the people.
