"Okay, Kass, so you and your friends are going to the coffee shop after school and then Mamma is going to come and get you at 5:30 and bring you home. Yeah?" Maya explained to Kassidy as they were in the car on the way to drop Kassie off at school. "Oh, and we have a call with Ms.Robyn to talk to her about piano and singing lessons at six o'clock."

"I know mommy, you and Mamma are going to be there for the call with Ms.Robyn right? And it is definitely Mamma picking me up later right?" Kassidy asked, looking at her mom, a worried look etched over her face.

"Yes bubba, both mamma and I are going to be there for the phone call with Ms.Robyn. And as for if it is going to be your Mamma picking you up we will let you know if anything changes but it will almost certainly be your Mamma okay, I don't want you to worry about that. Even if something changes Mamma or I will let you know okay? We want you to enjoy your time with your friends," Maya replied, taking one of her hands and taking one of Kassidy's.

Kassidy looked at Maya and then nodded, finding comfort in her reassurances. As the conversion ended, Maya pulled up at the school. She looked over at her daughter, and smiled seeing a smile appear on her face. Kassidy looked over and gave Maya a small hug and told her that she loved her before jumping out of the car and running over to Lucie, Hudson and Brodie and the group of four walked into school.

The school day ended and Kassidy and her group of friends left school to go to the coffee shop where they would be working on their group presentation on 'Holes'. Kassidy still felt anxious about going to the cafe and about the fact that part of her brain was telling her that neither Maya or Carina were going to pick her up. Lucie, Hudson and Brodie, all noticed that Kassidy seemed to be anxious, all three of them trying their best to help her feel as comfortable as possible. They all took notice within the first few days of knowing Kassidy, that if she was really anxious she struggled to talk, so they took the time to come up with ways to help. One of them being having a notepad for Kassidy to write on so she still had a way of communicating until she was able to verbally communicate with them. None of them minded, they all loved Kassidy so they didn't care they just wanted to be with their friend.

"Okay, I am going to get something to drink, what do you guys want?" Lucie said, looking at her friends as they sat down at the table. Both Hudson and Brodie wanted iced tea, and gave Lucie the money for their drinks , however when Lucie looked over at Kassidy she noticed a panicked looked on her face.

"Why don't you come up with me Kassie? I don't know what I want yet. We can decide together and you can help me bring everything over," Lucie suggested, her blonde hair falling in front of her eyes. Kassie nodded and followed alongside Lucie so they could get a look at the menu to see what drinks they had. There were a few people around them so Kassidy not wanting to be crowded by people she didn't know took a step closer to Lucie, the taller blonde took hold of Kassidy's hand trying to help her in any way that she could to feel more comfortable.

"What are you thinking then? Hot chocolate, coffee, tea, Iced tea like the two weirdos back there?" Lucie asked, poking fun at the twins' drinks order. It made Kassie giggle so to Lucie it was classed as a win. She paused for a moment before talking again, "I think I am going to get a hot chocolate,"

Kassisy looked over at Lucie and nodded, indicating that that is what she wanted too. Kassidy loved hot chocolate at home, Carina usually made it for her, or Vic when she came round. There was something comforting about it, so that's what she went for. Lucie kept a hold of her hand as they walked up to the counter to order and pay. Once it was paid for they waited for their drinks and then walked back over to the table, each carrying a hot chocolate and an iced tea.
