Andy and Vic had left after dinner, which proved to be difficult once again. Both Maya and Carina had spent time encouraging the teen, however they knew that it wasn't going to be easy to get her to eat. But they would try.
Kassidy had fallen asleep once again shortly after eating a bit of the pasta that was made for dinner by Carina. So after putting Kassidy in her bed once again, it left the blonde and the brunette to sit with one another. Carina was sitting on the sofa with Maya's head on her lap, Carina had a question that had been running around in her head for the majority of the day and it seemed like the question wasn't going to be leaving her any time soon.
"Maya?" She asked to look at the blonde who looked up and hummed in response.
"Do you want me to go back to my apartment? To give you and the bambina some space?" The Italian asked
The blonde gave Carina a confused look, wondering if she had said anything during the day to make her feel like she needed to leave. "What? No of course not! You are always welcome to stay, I don't want you to go and I am almost certain that Kassie wouldn't want you to leave either. But if you want to go you can..." Maya said frantically before looking away.
"No! I don't want to leave but I need you to know that if you ever want me to give the two of you space you need to tell me and I will go," Carina said.
"Carina, I don't want you to leave. Ever. You make me feel safe, and I know it is the same with Kassie. And I know it is fast but if you want you can move in with us," Maya said, not even registering what she had said to her girlfriend.
"You want me to move in bambina?"
"I mean you were basically living here before everything happened, so it isn't much of a change. But if you don't want to you don't have to,"
"I want to bambina,"

The following morning Maya was the first one awake, so she made the decision to write the email to the chef telling them that she was going to need to take personal time off due to a family emergency, which she then sent once she was content with how it sounded.Maya then went to the task of making breakfast, but she knew it was going to be difficult finding something that Kassidy would eat without panicking. Maya knew it was going to be a difficult task, and that there would be many tears and anxiety surrounding food which if she was being honest she knew may last a lifetime. Maya after she left home had had her share of issues with food but from what she could remember it was never as bad as Kassidy.
Maya made the decision to chop up some fruit and then make eggs and toast, just something simple and light that would hopefully be okay. As Maya was chopping the fruit, a pair of arms wrapped around her waist and she heard Carina's voice in her ear.
"Good morning Bambina,"
"Good morning. Would you be able to start cooking some eggs for me while I go get Kassidy up?" Maya asked
The brunette nodded before going to the fridge to get the eggs, while Maya went into what was now Kassidy's room to wake her up. Maya walked in and was happy to see that she was still asleep so she went over and started to rub the girl's back causing her to start to wake up.
"Good morning bubs," Maya said watching as she was met with a pair of blue eyes that were identical to her little brothers. "Can you sit up?"
Kassidy sluggishly sat up and reached out for Maya, so Maya picked the girl up and carried her out to the kitchen where Carina had her playlist of her favourite songs, the one that was currently playing was in Italian. Maya watched as Carina danced a little bit as she cooked breakfast for the three of them. Maya walked over to where Carina was, Kassidy still in her arms.
