7. VIHANG

I don't even know how Vartika convinces me to accompany her to such places. It was the loudest club I have ever visited. I don't hate clubs or partying and I have been to a fair share of clubs but this place was not my type. "Cheer up grumpy pants. We are at a party not one of your college meetings." Vartika said as we entered the club.

 While I was in the shower, Dhruv called to invite me to a party a group of juniors were organizing and to ask if the boys from my team could go. Usually they don't ask for permission but since we had an important game coming up I didn't want them to get themselves in any trouble or worst get injured. Obviously Vartika answered the call and asked Dhruv to send the details. 

"You know we can buy expensive alcohol and stay at home. We don't have to stay here for free booze." I tried to convince her to leave but she was her parents only child and my and Sid's only sister so obviously she got everything she's ever wanted. She gave me a smile and dragged me towards the open bar. 

"I know you have been secretly earning money through some mysterious sources since we were sixteen and by now you must be a millionaire or something but it's not about the free alcohol Vihu. Look at these young people, they look so alive." She said looking around the club. Sometimes I really wonder if she is the same person who got selected in one of the top medical colleges and managed to pass all subjects with a good score. Vartika has only one mantra 'study and party like there's no tomorrow'. "You are mad Tiku and don't call me Vihu, many people know me here." I told her and ordered drinks for both of us.

Just as I turned back from the counter I saw Panchi standing in front of me. Sid and Abheer were also there but I noticed them later. "Hey guys we didn't know you were also coming." Sid asked and hugged Vartika. I couldn't look away from Panchi. She was looking so pretty in a black mini dress which barely covered thighs. It fitted her perfectly and hugged all her curves like it was custom made for her but even with those heels she was still an inch shorter than me. She also got a new haircut. She has always been beautiful but today she was looking like a super model. Like an angel sent by God himself.

 Vartika nudged me with her elbow when I realized that I forgot to answer Sid's question. "Dhruv told me about the party and she wanted to come." I told him pointing towards Vartika who was now in the middle of a hug with Panchi. I can't believe that I was so fucking jealous of my own sister because she was hugging Panchi. "Good decision Di, but how come you two were together? Were you two hanging out without me?" Sid asked pouting. 

Sid was always jealous of the bond I and Vartika have shared since childhood. He always cried and complained to our parents whenever we both snuck out anywhere without him. He told massi to have another child so that he can have company but unfortunately due to some medical reason massi could never conceive after Vartika. 

"Stop being a child Sid. I had to rescue her from a bad date that's all." I told Sid trying my best not to look at Panchi who laughing at something Abheer said in her ear. Thank God that he was Sid's boyfriend otherwise it would have taken not even a minute to smash his head at the counter. 

"Sid, love if you are done complaining can we order something, I am starving." Abheer asked Sid giving him a look only he and Sid knew what it meant. "I am not complaining just making sure that I don't miss any family time with my favorite siblings." Sid said rolling his eyes and everyone except me laughed.

I was busy staring at Panchi because I couldn't stop myself from not looking at her when she was right in front of me looking this beautiful. All I wanted to do was rip that dress off her and explore each and every inch of her body. She must have felt my gaze because she suddenly looked at me and I looked away. 

"So Panchi how have you been? Sid told me about your breakup I am so sorry babe. But don't you worry I have a feeling that you will find love soon. Who knows maybe he's here in front you or somewhere in this party. Right Vihu?" Vartika said, ignoring the looks I have been giving her to stop whatever she was trying to do. 

It's official now that I hate my sister. Sid and Abheer were gone to order something from the food menu so it was just me Vartika and Panchi now. "Hey captain I am glad you could make it." Dhruv came to me along with his girlfriend and a couple of boys from the team. "Not to brag but I think I deserve some credit." Vartika said before I could respond. She knew Dhruv and few other boys from the team.

 She met them last year at my birthday and bonded with everyone instantly. "Right of course, Vartika didn't see you there. Are you finally a doctor or still in college?" Dhruv asked her and she punched him on his arm. Dhruv introduced Vartika to his girlfriend and the other guys. Chirag, one of my teammate was about to start a conversation with Panchi when the dj asked everyone to join the dance floor. And thankfully everyone's attention shifted to the dj. 

"Let's dance." Mahira, Druv's girlfriend shouted and dragged Dhruv to the dance floor. "Panchi?" Chirag raised his hand and asked Panchi and I tightened my jaw. "She doesn't wants to dance right now." I said immediately before Panchi could say anything. 

She was looking at me with a confused expression and my chest tightened at the thought of her going with him. "He means that she is still sober. Right Panchi, I am sure you wanna get drunk first. But I am enough drunk to kill the floor. Shall we?" Vartika said and took Chirag away before anyone could say anything.
