"You can sleep in my room I'll crash here on the sofa" I said and turned the sofa into a mattress. But before I could set the bed sheet she suddenly jumped and sat on the mattress. Her every move was driving me crazy. Her body looked perfect in my shirt. And the wet hair added to her angelic beauty. I could just sit there and watch her for hours.

"You don't have to give up your room. I'll sleep here" she said covering herself with the duvet. She insisted on it and after a few minutes I gave into her wish. I was about to leave to go to my room when she asked me to watch a movie since she was still a little scared of the thunder.

"Harry Potter" we both said unanimously. We smiled at each other then I set the movie on TV. She asked me to sit with her. Though I was reluctant but again who can argue with her. "I didn't know you were a potter head" she said while adjusting the duvet so that I could fit in. I hesitated but my little sparrow is stubborn so I had no choice.

Just as I played the movie suddenly lightning struck and the power again went off. Before Panchi could panic I held her hand and calmed her. After convincing her I went and checked the generator. There was some technical error so I turned it off. I switched on the inverter so that at least the basic appliances could run.

After I came back Panchi was fast asleep. I added another blanket to cover her. As I was tucking her in she grabbed my arm. I tried to free myself but her grip was firm. She looked so peaceful and cozy I didn't want to disturb her so I just sat beside her.

"Mummy please don't leave me" she shouted and cried in her sleep. She must be dreaming of her mother so I hugged her. I cleaned tears and tucked away her hair and made sure she is ok. After watching her for a while I didn't realize I slept cuddling her.

In the morning I woke up to banging on the main door. Panchi was sleeping hugging me. So I immediately stood up and distanced myself from her. By the time I went to open the door Sid had already unlocked it with his spare key. "What took you so long" he said angrily and stormed inside. Because of his loud voice Panchi woke up. Sid froze as he saw Panchi standing in the middle of the drawing room that too in my shirt.

"What the fuck is going on here" Sid asked looking at both of us alternately. Panchi and I exchanged a confusing look. We both explained him what happened. Panchi went and changed into her clothes from last night. "I thought you two hooked up. That would have been crazy. Right?" he said chuckling. Panchi laughed nervously and I went to the kitchen. "But why were you so furious earlier?" Panchi asked Sid while I prepared breakfast. I made coffee and gave it to both of them since I knew Panchi would wake up with a headache because of her hangover.

"Oh that. Abheer and I had an argument" he said and rolled his eyes. Then he rambled about their fight for ten minutes while I toasted bread and whipped up some eggs. Panchi turned back the sofa and helped me setting the table. Sid freshened up then we ate in silence. "Vihang will you drop me home on your way" Panchi asked and I nodded.

As we settled in the car I fastened my seat belt and started driving. The ride was so silent that I decided to turn on the music. Panchi must have had the same thought because when I raised my hand to turn up the volume our hands collided. We both pulled our hands as soon as this happened. It felt like we touched a wire and it gave us a shock.

"Thank you for everything Vihang" she said in a low voice. I did not reply immediately. "By the way I took your shirt but don't worry I'll give it back after washing" she continued when I didn't say anything. I gave her a side look but she didn't noticed.

"That's fine you don't have to thank me. After all I'm your boyfriend, it was my duty to take care of you" I said winking at her. She chuckled and shook her head. I wanted to ask her about the dream last night. I know how that must feel and I want her to have at least someone to talk about this stuff. I chose not to say anything because Panchi was finally in a happy place after a long time.

"Honestly I thought you hated me. Can I ask you what changed?" she saidlooking at me. I wanted to tell her about my feelings. I didn't answer for awhile so she kept quite after that. We reached her house after five minutes. "MaybeI never changed or maybe your feelings for me are changing. I guess we'll neverknow" I told her as she got out of the car and left without waiting for herreply.
