31. PANCHI

  "Zozo your party is dull. I'm bored do something dude" Sid complained. My complete attention was on Vihang. I caught him looking at me few times. And the act he pulled in the car. It kept playing in mind on repeat. I don't know why but I couldn't break my attention from Vihang. I decided to talk to Abheer about everything after the party. "Panchi you okay babe? You seem of" Zoya jerked my hand. I shook my head and smiled. Sid asked us to dance but I was in no mood so I pointed towards my heels. Sid scoffed and took Abheer with him.

Zoya grabbed my hand and pulled me to dance. After exhausting ourselves we came back to our seats. "Look who decided to show up" Kashaf came and said. With her was a very handsome man. It was their cousin Imran. He is everything a girl can ask for. He looked like a fictional character who escaped a romance book. Those blue dreamy eyes of him were looking at me which made me blush. "What's going on" Vartika came and asked. Vihang and Yash her fiancé followed her.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" Sid asked Imran when Abheer cleared his throat. "Or a girlfriend" he added after a pause. He said he was single. This allowed Sid to flirt freely. Imran was polite but Sid made him uncomfortable. Abheer took Sid to eat something. Although Abheer is not the jealous type still even he was jealous a little. Seeing them like this made me smile in awe.

"Zoya how come we've never met this sexy cousin of yours" I asked Zoya when Kashaf and Imran left to meet some other people. She laughed and told me that he lives in Dubai and is here only for some time. It was almost midnight so most of the guests were leaving so Zoya went to resume her host duties. I saw Sid making up with Abheer near the food stall and Vartika also took off with Yash since they had to leave for Jaipur after the party. It's supposed to be some romantic long drive to their weeding venue.

It was only me and Vihang standing there. I was tired so I walked towards the chair to sit. He followed me and sat beside me. I was staring at Imran who might have sensed that and looked at me. He gave a warm smile which embarrassed me and I averted my gaze. "Your boyfriend sitting right here little sparrow and he looks ten times better than that guy" Vihang said as I was fidgeting with my phone.

I looked at him narrowing my eyes. "Jealous much?" I asked him smirking. He chuckled and shook his head. He pulled my chair towards him which gave me a scare. I closed my eyes and held his arm when I thought I'll fall. "Don't worry sweetheart I'd never let you fall" he said lowering his head. When I opened my eyes he kissed my earlobe.

My heartbeat fastened at the way he looked at me. His gaze was warm but it was also something else I couldn't quite understand. His touch didn't felt any creepy rather it was comforting in some way. I ignored everything going on inside me. I removed my heels and decided to get a drink. "I'm going to the bar can you keep my phone in your pocket" I asked Vihang because I like to keep my hands free but I left my purse in the car. And Sid was having a good time with Abheer so I didn't want to disturb them.

Vihang took the phone from hand and slipped it in his kurta's pocket. I grabbed the tequila bottle and poured myself a couple of shots. I saw Vihang watching from the table. I remembered how he warned us not to get too drunk so I poured another shot and swallowed it without breaking eye contact from him.

"Okay that's enough" Vihang said and took the bottle from me. I was too drunk to argue with him. Kashaf called out our names so I walked towards her. Vihang held my hand tightly when he thought I was falling. I chuckled and remembered his remark about not letting me fall. "Guys let's play truth and dare just like old times" Kashaf. Everyone formed a circle and sat down.

After a few turns the bottle pointed at me and since I was fifty percent drunk I chose dare. "Um ok we know that you are Vihu bhai are a couple now but we never saw you indulge in any pda so we want to see you both kiss" as soon as Zoya said this my soul left my body. Vihang and I looked at each other. He tried to talk everyone out of it but this only made it worst. "Kiss. Kiss. Kiss" everyone started chanting. My mouth went dry. It felt like there was no oxygen reaching my lungs.
