“So, how are we going to do this again?” I asked Jacob as we prepared to leave. He was going to teleport us to the pack territory that we were going to be visiting. He raised his eyebrow at me as if I had asked him a stupid question.

He shook his left hand, which had around three black rings on it and a watch that Arlo recently got him.

They went on a date and Arlo thought that the watch was cute and got it for him, at least that's what Micah said as he started to complain that I had never gotten him any gifts.

That's a lie though, I bought him his favorite snacks all the time, and he enjoyed them a lot.

“I'm just going to get us there, if the alpha gives us any fight it would be enough reason for me to demote him. Take the omegas that are being mistreated and come back here so that I can be with my family.” He began to explain, as if I didn't know that already.

“What I meant was, are you going to use any of your gifts on him? The last time you did that on an alpha seeking revenge, Arlo and Micah were there. I don't want those two popping out of nowhere like they did before.” Jacob growled as if he remembered said time. We were a couple of idiots back then, punished our mates when things didn't go our way.

I'm glad we were changing though and things were different now.

“Let's just get this done. There's no use in bringing up old dirt.” I guess what I said affected him a bit, maybe I should have kept my mouth shut.

After we teleported to this deadbeat pack, I instantly covered my nostrils because of the stench that was coming from somewhere around here. Cale left to investigate what it was and when he found the reason, he shouted for us.

There lying on the ground was the decomposed body of a pup. I growled and so did Jacob, not liking what we were seeing so far. My heart broke at the sight that was in front of me, I could not believe that someone could be so cruel.

At least we were here now and things were going to change around here. Once we get the omegas away, the alpha and Luna of this pack are going to pay for their crimes and as Jacob was currently mumbling, he was going to send them to no man's land with no way of returning.

It sucks to be them right now.
