(Micah)

As I lay there, cradling Christian in my arms, I couldn’t help but smile at how beautiful he was. I glanced at Landon, who was still gazing at our son with a look of pure awe.

“He’s perfect, isn’t he?” I whispered, leaning closer to get a better look at Christian’s tiny features.

“Yeah, he is,” Landon replied, his voice thick with emotion.

“I think he has your brown eyes. They’re so expressive already.” Landon said. I chuckled, unable to hold back my pride.

“And I’d say his complexion leans more toward you. He’s got that nice glow.” I replied as I brushed my fingers over Christian’s cheek, marveling at the softness of his skin.

“His hair, it’s got some of that curl from you, but it’s blonde like mine. I wonder how it will change as he grows.” Landon added, running his fingers gently through Christian's small curls.

“He’s going to be a little heartbreaker, just like his dad. Look at that nose—yours. And his ears?” I teased, nudging Landon with my elbow.

“Those are all mine.” Landon laughed a warm sound that filled the room.

“He is a mix of both of us. It’s incredible.” He replied.

“I can’t wait to teach him all the tricks,” I said, as I thought about it.

“Like climbing trees and pulling pranks on everyone.” Landon raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk spreading across his face.

“Oh, no. That will never happen. I refuse to have a son who turns into a little troublemaker.” He said teasingly.

“Aw, come on! Think of all the fun we could have!” I grinned, imagining Christian scaling the branches of a big tree, just like I had done before Landon cuffed me to the bed and punished me when he caught me. Landon rolled his eyes but chuckled.

“I’ll keep my eye on you two, making sure you don’t get into too much mischief.” I sighed, feeling a wave of exhaustion wash over me.

“I think I’m ready for a shower and to brush my teeth. I feel so gross. Plus, I’m starving.” I said.

“Let me send a mind link to Malachi. He’ll bring us some food,” Landon said, focusing for a moment before sending the message.

Moments later, there was a knock on the door.

“Hey, you two! Oh my Goddess, look at him! He’s beautiful!” Malachi entered with a bright smile, his eyes immediately landing on Christian.

“Thanks, he’s a little miracle,” I said, feeling proud.

Malachi leaned closer, practically bouncing on his feet.

“I hope that I can get pregnant for Cale and Connor soon!” Landon shot him a look, half amused and half exasperated.

“Do we need to hear that?” Malachi laughed, undeterred.

“It’s part of the plan, you know? Cale is all about those family dynamics. We’ve even talked about what we’ll do in the bedroom just so that I can get…” Malachi started to say, only to be cut off by landon.

“Okay, I didn’t want to hear that,” Landon interrupted playfully, shaking his head.

Malachi just grinned wider, oblivious to Landon’s discomfort.

“You two are going to have so much fun with him. Just wait until he starts talking! And if you ever need help, I’m here.” Malachi said.

“Thanks, Malachi, But we’ll manage. Right, Landon?” I said, grateful that he was thinking about us.

“Right,” Landon said, rolling his eyes again but smiling.

With one last glance at Christian, Malachi waved goodbye and left us to our quiet moment.

“Alright, I’ll take care of the baby while you shower, and I’ll mind linking Cory for some milk,” Landon said, gently taking Christian from me.

After I was finished with my shower and feeling fresh, I heard Landon whispering to Christian, making silly faces and cooing at him. It warmed my heart.

“Cory’s on his way with the milk,” Landon said, smiling up at me when I returned.

Just as Landon promised, Cory popped his head through the door, his eyes lighting up at the sight of Christian.

“Oh, look at him! He’s so cute!” Cory shouted.

“Thanks, Cory,” I said, laughing a little at his excitement.

“Hey, I wanted to apologize for snapping at you that day when Micah fainted. I didn’t mean to act that way towards you.” Landon said, looking a bit guilty.

“Yeah? You thought that I was hitting on Micah. Come on now, Micah only thought about kissing me and you heard it through your link. But then you wanted to take your frustration out on me like it was my fault.” Cory said, clearly irritated with Landon.

“I should have known better, that's why I'm apologizing,” Landon replied. Cory accepted it and they both decided to let it go.

“So, are you guys planning to keep feeding him dairy milk? I mean, how exactly are you going to do that? You’re both guys.” Cory asked.

“Well, we were thinking about using formula for now, but eventually, we’ll introduce some dairy into his diet as he grows. It’s all part of the plan.” Landon nodded, taking over the explanation.

“We have a special formula that’s designed to mimic breast milk that Dr. Carlyle will give us tomorrow. We’ll be able to transition him to dairy gradually as he gets older. Plus, we’ll make sure he has all the nutrients he needs.” Cory looked a bit skeptical when Landon said that.

“But what about the whole concept of two guys raising a baby? How’s that going to work in practice? Are you going to be his mom and dad?” I laughed when Cory asked that nonsense.

“More like two dads who take turns being the primary caregiver,” I said, smiling at the thought.

“We’ve discussed it, and we’ll do this together. It doesn’t matter what labels we have; what matters is that we love him and provide for him.” I explained.

“Exactly. We’ll create our family dynamic. It doesn’t have to fit into traditional molds. Christian will have everything he needs, and we’ll raise him to be confident and secure.” Landon stated.

Cory nodded slowly, clearly thinking about everything.

“Okay, I get that. It’s just... different, you know? I want to make sure he’s going to be okay.” Cory said.

“He will be, we’re both committed to being the best dads we can be. That’s what matters.” I replied, already knowing that.

It was going to be rough, but Landon and I were serious about this. Regardless of what happened, we were going to make sure that Christian had the best life with us, and nothing was going to change that.
