Parent hood

Danny had been evading any question asked of him. Alan woke up. He rubbed his sore head and slowly looked from the Bruce to Peter and then to Danny.

"Tuse and shine sleeping beauty" Danny said.

"Aw crap" Alan said standing up.

"So, I'm your child, how does this make you feel?" Danny asked.

Alan looked at Danny with disbelief.

"You have got a big mouth kid" Alan said, pained by the thought of his dead wife.

Danny grew serious.

"Look, I didn't come here for anything from you at all. I just needed to calm my mind. Now that I know I can move on with my life. The question is, what do you want?" Danny said in a surprising amount if maturity for an angry teenager.

"What?" Alan asked looking at the boy.

Danny leaned back in a chair across from Alan.

"But before you make any decision, there is one more thing I think you should know, as Green Lantern" Danny said.

He stood up. After a small green flash a whole different kid stood in front of Alan. A kid with snow white hair and glowing green eyes.

"I'm half dead" Danny said.

"I have no heartbeat, I can survive without breathing. But I can still die completely."

Alan gasped into his hands.

"H-how?"

Danny sat down still in phantom form.

"I was electrocuted to death inside of my adoptive parents invention.

The only reason I'm not completely dead is because a substance called ectoplasm merge itself with my DNA."

"That must've hurt a lot" Alan said.

Danny just shrugged. It HAD hurt a lot. Danny formed a ball of ectoplasmic in his hand.

"What can you do?"

Danny felt more than Alan's curiosity in that room.

"I have quite a bit of abilities, but I'm still developing them. I can walk through stuff, fly, become invisible, heal slightly faster, make others intangible, shoot ecto blasts, create shields, i have a really destructive voice called my ghostly wail." Danny said listing them off.

He left tout the part about being prince of the ghost zone.

"And your my child?" Alan asked.

"Yes"

Danny stood up.

"Now you know. I'll leave now. I'm sure if you want to see me again you'll find a way." He said changing back before walking out the door.

Peter followed him.

"Boo!" Danny jumped back.

In front of him, was Dani.

"What are you doing here?" He asked nervously glancing at Peter.

Peter stood there in shocked silence.

"It's okay Peter, shes just my clone" Danny explained.

"Who cloned you?" Peter asked.

"Vlad Master, creepy guy"

"So Danny, why are you in Gotham?" Dani asked.

"Oh, um, just a vacation you know"

"Danny, Tucker and Sam told me what happened" Dani said.
