Destiny

When you hear the word: DESTINY, what's the first thing come to mind. Let's me guess fate? A future that something or someone will have. When the nine men and women met Rip Hunter, 5 months ago, on top of the rooftop in Star City, do you remember what he told them.

"And because if you don't follow me, this is what is in store for your world 150 years from now", Rip says. "I could have chosen any time and any place. Of all the people who ever lived, I chose you nine. I certainly hope that you wont let me, and the world, down. If your answer is yes, meet me at this address in 36 hours".

Well this is what happened on the roof after he left them to think about what he said.

"I think this is five minutes of my life I'm not giving back", Snart says.

"He just showed us the entire world in flames", Stein says. "You can't turn your back on that".

"Observe", Snart says, turning his back and walking away, with his friend Mick following behind him.

"I think we can all agree that mission will go a whole lot better without those two", Ray says.

"Make it three", Bonnie tells Ray. "Im not coming".

"Come on. Saving the world, time traveling is something anyone could want to imagine", Stein tells her.

"I am not anyone. I don't care for that stuff", Bonnie says. "And you really gonna trust some English man who kidnapped us and started gibberish about saving the world. And saying us nine are the key to making the world a safer place".

"Look, I am not going off to die in some apocalyptic future", Jax says. "Im staying right here in the present".

And with that Jax was the next to leave.

"Let me talk to him", Stein says.

"Jefferson, can we at least discuss this?", Stein asks.

"Oh that's a first", Jax says. "And it was always you trying to tell me what to do. It's not happening this time".

"But if the fate of the world is at stake-".

"Then the world can find somebody more capable than me", Jax says leaving.

Remember when Jax got hit with the temporal radiation leak when trying to fix the Time Drive and turned old. Then Stein sent him back to 2016 alone to cure him. Well it worked. Jax arrived to Star City 2016, the night Rip told them about the world. So, after 2016 Jax's talk with Stein ended, present day Jax arrived seconds after his past self left.

"Grey, we need to talk", present day Jax says.

"We were just talking", Stein says. "How did you change your clothes so fast?".

"Something called time travel", Jax says. "I need your help. The team's in trouble".

THE VANISHING POINT
"Martin, are you okay?", Kendra asks him.

"I am required to merge with Jefferson...periodically in order to maintain nuclear cohesion", Stein says, as he sits on the ground in a cell.

That's right, Rip, Kendra and others were captured but the time council, and now is locked up. Savage went back to 2166, and this was it.

"Then sending him away on the Jumpship probably wasn't the greatest idea", Mick says.

"Given the circumstances we're under, I'm surprised any of us are alive", Stein says.

"Oh, you'll be dead soon", Mick says. "You're getting off easy".

"What gives you the free pass?", Ray asks.
