I did not want to leave the house, I was literally in love with it but here it was 7:25 in the morning and we were on our way to get Kairi.
"Thank you for yesterday" he gently squeezed my hand
"You do a lot for me I just wanted to give the love back" I smiled genuinely. Material wise he gives me EVERYTHING I want and need.
" I love you Kay" I started saying back but he spoke again " Like Dead Ass"
" I love you too Melo" I know y'all probably wondered why I said yes. But imagine being locked in a cage with a beast ALL ALONE. If I told Melo no I know that it wouldn't have been pretty like I said he was most likely still mad he couldn't fully beat my ass when he got me.
"You better hope you're not pregnant again" I looked at him like he was crazy
" I'm getting an abortion if I am" I shrugged my shoulders
" Don't say no shit like that" he was serious and so was I
" Melo I just had Kairi and don't forget you didn't make that pregnancy the best" I argued back because this was MY BODY
" We have been good for a long time don't fuck it up with ya mouth" I looked at him in disbelief because he was the one fucking it up
"But" "Kaydence" I just shut up I knew we were close to home so I didn't say anything else

The trip had slipped my mind but it was already paid for so of course we were going. He pulled into the garage and I hopped out I miss my baby.
He was smart taking his time, I knew not to leave him though. I folded my arms as I waited at the elevator doors. I wondered what he was gonna do with the penthouse, I'll ask him later.
He finally got out of the car I rolled my eyes at him. I didn't stand in front of him. I thought he was gonna do something cause he looked irritated.
" I'm sorry Melo" I didn't wanna argue with him especially not in front of his mom or the baby
" I always tell you about your mouth" It was so hard for me not to roll my eyes at him. He just couldn't simply say it's fine and leave it there.
There was no point in saying nothing because I was always wrong anyway. We got to the house and walked in, it was quiet so I'm guessing they were still sleeping. I was right she was lying in her bassinet and his mom was on the bed in the guest room.
" Hi Mommy girl" I picked Kairi up, and she stretched trying to adjust her eyes. There was a lot of light coming in through the window. I kissed her little cheek...my daughter is so beautiful.
"Where Daddy baby" I smacked my teeth because I just got her. By this time his mom was awake. He came and grabbed her from me, I rolled my eyes at him.
"Was she good Mama" She nodded her head
"I told you if not y'all wasn't gonna be enjoying y'all night" I chuckled
"Well thanks, Rae for letting Mommy and Daddy have fun" I chuckled
" I'm bout to head home Y'all need anything" She grabbed her purse and her keys
"Dang Mama you not gonna brush yo teeth and wash yo face?" Melo looked at her sideways
"Boy I got to meet somebody at the house, I can do that when I get there" She waved him off about to walk out of the room.
"See you later meme baby, see you Kai call me later," she said before leaving out the door
