" Damn Good-" I didn't let him get the rest of his sentence out " when you going home"

" what the fuck is wrong with you" he got up out the bed walking to the bathroom where I was at

" I don't feel like dealing with you, and ya "shenanigans" " I was being petty because I was still talking about Emani or whatever the fuck the girl name was

" you funny as hell you still talking bout that shit" he walked around me grabbing his toothbrush and wash cloth

" yeah I hope you going home after you done" I started walking out the bathroom when my hair was pulled back " ion know what you on matter of fact I really don't give a fuck what you on you better fix ya fucking attitude" he let me go

I don't know why but I teared up, I know why because this fucking period making me emotional, he gotta go. I walk downstairs to make ME some breakfast by the time he came down I was making the eggs I just needed the biscuits to come on they had about 45 secs left.

" I said I wanted you to leave why you still here" i rolled my eyes at him as he took some of my bacon

" STOP DUMBASS " He smacked me but not enough for it to leave a bruise but enough for me to be stunned a little " Your mouth I keep telling you that " he kissed me and walked out

"fuck you" I called out as I heard the door closing I didn't give a fuck where he was going I just needed some peace and quiet. I made my plate and sat on the couch watching "Sister, Sister" for the billionth time

~2 1/2 hours later~
" Mama wake up" I felt somebody shaking me hard " get up"

" what Melo move" I wiped the sleep out of my eyes and stretched " come on we gotta go to the hospital some shit went down with Crazy and he had patience with him" I immediately jumped up grabbing my keys off the island rushing to the door

" you not driving like this imma drive" I had tears rolling down my eyes like a facet " hurry please"

We both rushed to the car jumping in, soon as he started the car he shifted the gear and zoomed off making my body jerk back but I didn't give a fuck. He was taking all back streets I'm guessing to avoid cops.Smart.My legs would not stop shaking and I was now biting my nails off, it was something I do when I got anxious.

" they gonna be good" he held my hand away from my mouth so I wouldn't bite my nails off. We pulled up to the hospital my dad work at " Patience Nola Smith"

" Princess" I heard my dad voice " papaaa" I ran up to him crying

" why you not operating on her?" i stepped back looking up confused

" you know they won't allow me to operate on anyone whose family" i broke down because I felt like my bestfriend was doomed now " no papa they gonna mess her up theyre going to do something they aren't suppose to"

" I promise everything is under control" my dad hugged me

"Have anyone called nan?" I asked because I noticed her and pa wasn't here " they were on vacation they should be on their way now I didn't tell them what happened" I nodded my head

" and who Is this?" I looked back at Melo

" um this um" i stuttered "How you doing it's Melo by the way since she couldn't introduce me" he extended his hand toward my dad and my dad shook his hand, I let go a breath I didn't know I was holding

" Between you,patience, and Kj y'all are gonna give me a damn heart attack" Kayden scuffed " shit not me it be the girls"

" Boyyy-" before he could finish the doctor had came out he didn't even have to say " the family of" we were already in his face

" thankfully her window was cracked when the shooting started but " my heart dropped because my best friend was shot at " Luke cut the bullshit I wanna know what's going on with my daughter"

" Both are fine but what I was saying was she was shot in her left upper arm more so near her shoulder area also because her window was cracked a bullet did graze her head on her right side but everything is fine with her I was able to remove the bullet in her arm before it could travel, as for the Mr. Brown ( Crazy) he was shot a total of 6 times including 3 in the abdomen, 2 in his left, and another one pierce through his hip. He was bleeding uncontrollably so we did have to put him in a coma but soon as his vital come back normal and everything with test look good we can bring him out of it" i held onto Melo hand and squeezed it I knew this was his boy and nobody was here for Crazy but him, twuan, and of course Kayden

" well can we go see them?" I asked because everybody else was just standing around probably shocked because of what he told us

" yes but it only can be 2 at a ti... never mind yes it's fine" he looked down I looked at my dad because he was intimidating this poor man

We all went back to the rooms they didn't place them in the same room but Crazy door was only one door over. Twuan and Melo went in Crazy room while Me, Pa, and Kj went in Patience room she was still sleep from surgery.

" Bestfriend" I sobbed hard, lightly hugging her good enough for me to know it was secure but not enough to hurt her. I was Sobbing so hard her battered body reminded me of the night of moms accident(death).

" wake up bestfriend" I whispered Patience was like the sister I never wanted but got anyway. I always wanted to be the spoiled princess the One and Only Princess in my dad and brothers life but when Pai came along I didn't mind sharing them in a weird loving kinda way.

Everyone was letting me have my money with her as pa rubbed her head and Kayden rubbed her feet

" if Crazy would've seen you doing that he would've pry kicked to ass" Melo walked in going to give Patience a kiss on her forehead,we all laughed cause he really was possessive over Her not in a bad way though it was cute. I wanted what they have, well not this particular situation but you get what I'm talking about.

" nigga this my sister" Kj laughed out " I know that's right son" my dad was a dork but I love him. He was always book smart, his streets smart was never there and that's where my mom came in at. She was the Streets ( Not for the Streets but she was big dog in Jersey streets) everyone knew her whether it was from South Jersey to North Jersey They knew Kelsey Renae Jonas

We all stayed in the hospital until Patience woke up, she woke up panicking

" CHASE"I'm assuming she tried to scream but it came out as a whisper. She wince when she tried to move her head, pa bring her some water

" how you feeling" pa ask as he held the water up to her lips as she drunk the water then he wiped her mouth with a napkin. He was checking everything to make sure she was good so we didn't have to call the nurse in

"Chase okay" she look toward me and Melo we both shook our head "yes" she let out a breath of relief

"Shot where" she didn't say a whole sentence in guessing because her throat was still dry. I saw a couple tears roll down her face and my tears where fighting against me I couldnt let her see me cry I needed to be strong for her

"It grazed your scalp so you have a few stitches on the right side of your head and in your arm" i pointed to where her arm was bandaged and she looked at it

" do you want me to call nan and pa"I asked her and she shook her head no,I'm not sure for what but I'm pretty sure it was a good reason

We sat in the room with Patience until visiting hours were over I was going to stay with her since she didn't want to call nan. I wanted to stay anyway.

"Imma call you when I get to the crib" Melo came and kissed my forehead before he left out. Everyone else said there goodbye and left as well, She was sleep and had been sleep for about 2 hours now.I didn't mind though because I was tired to before I went to sleep I went in Crazy room just to make sure he was fine, which he was. I finally went back to the room before I got situated on the couch/bed and dozed off.
