I was in the police office station for about two hours. They told me I needed "evidence" to press charges which I thought was pretty stupid. I didn't care because I had everything I needed besides the most recent bruises because I didn't have a phone. Everything else I needed was saved to my iCloud
" Is there anywhere we can take you or do you need anywhere to stay" the officer asked me but I shook my head no.
"I'm fine" I thanked him for helping me and left out the police department. I felt refreshed
I called my dad number to see if he would answer but he didn't just like I expected. I was lonely and that was one thing I hate to be. I decided to go apartment hunting I need to start focusing on me and my child.I only had about 5 weeks left to have her. Scared would be an understatement.
I walked up and down time square before I went looking ,
it was just so nice to feel free.
" what you doing out here by yourself ma" I wasn't interested in nobody especially not now. I rolled my eyes and walked away because I didn't have Time.
My phone started ringing and I looked at it confused because nobody had my number. I totally forgot I called my dad and now he was calling back
" Paaaa" I sung through the phone
" why everybody calling my phone about you Princess" my words got caught in my throat. I needed to come up with a lie
" they mad because I needed a vacation I was becoming to overwhelmed" I lied
" that's right baby you do what's best for you and little princess I'm gonna get going I have to get back to work I love you" he was always gonna be on my side no matter what
" I love you to pa" we hung up and I called the realtor lady. We wasn't on the phone for more than 10 minutes before I was changing my mind. I had never been in a situation like this but something was telling me to not settle in one place. Only bad side to everything was i was almost due and my daughter needed a stable home.
I went in red lobster because I had a taste for their biscuits.
" table for 1" I was greeted by the hostess
" yes please" she nodded her head leading me to the booth
" okay give them about 2 minutes and they'll be right over to assist you" she was referring to the waitress. It was jam packed so I nodded understandingly
I looked at the menu because I was starving but I wasn't to fond of red lobster. More so just for the biscuits.
" how you doing my name is karin ill be serving you today can I start you off with something to drink"
" yes may I have a strawberry lemonade and instead of one order of biscuits may I have two" I smiled at him and he wrote it down walking away
I went on my finsta because I literally had nothing else to do.
*PLEASE CALL ME* I had got a dm from Patience but stomach was just feeling more and more queasy. I got up out of my seat because I had to throw up. I barely made it to the bathroom before I started.
Tears was rolling as I threw up and not to mention I just peed myself. This day just couldn't get any worse. As I walked out the bathroom the waiter was approaching my table
" I have an emergency could you pack these to go" I moved the biscuits toward him and he nodded grabbing them
I busted out laughing because I hadn't pee on myself since I was a kid.I had on a dress and a button down shirt wrapped around me waist so it wasn't noticeable just embarrassing to me.
" little girl you gotta relax" I rubbed my belly because she was going ballistic like she knew something I didn't. He walked back with the bag, I paid and left.

BACK AT THE HOUSE...
" pops I need you to do something for me" I was on the phone with my dad. She didn't know my damn was police chief, that's how I get away with all the shit I do.
" what the fuck you done did now Rolo" I didn't give a fuck about what he was saying. He didn't do shit for me and was never around so fuck him.
" you can look somebody up in ya data base right?" He huffed and puffed
" get to the point Ro" he was getting aggravated but fuck him so was I
" I need you to find my girl Kaydence Aiisha Jonas her full name I need you to do it by today" i hung up on him, fuck him. Matter fact fuck everybody, I got up leaving because the more I sat the more pissed off i was getting
I knew Patience had to know where she was at because she tell her everything
" Chase" I yelled outside his door before I got to it. I didn't knocked and the door was opened so I walked straight in
" PATIENCE" I yelled out and she didn't answer but chased walked around the Hall
" she went with her folks to dinner" he told me sitting on the couch
" kay not back yet" he asked a dumb ass question like he always did
" shut the fuck up let me know when she back she know where Kaydence at with my daughter" I didn't wait for a respond I slammed the door. When I caught her I was gonna kill her.
I light my blunt and pulled off. If Patience didn't have nothing to do with it then who the fuck could have because she didn't have a phone and no car NOTHING.I drove down my street when it dawned on me only way she could've gotten somewhere,if nobody helped her, was walk. It was no stores around us only a gas station. And even that was almost 30 mins from us in a car I could imagine walking
My dad was taking to long and I needed to know where she was like NOW. I drove down to the gas station and got out going in.
" welcome in" the lady spoke but I didn't have time for small talk
" you saw this girl anywhere around here" I showed her the picture I had pulled up on my phone
" oh her she just was here this morning" she smiled like that was a good thing
" did you see where she went" I asked with an attitude
" she called a cab and left" I chuckled to myself this bitch thought she was slick
" you got the cab number?" I asked because I need all resources
" I could check in the phone" she grabbed the phone going through the calls
" I believe it's this number right here" she handed me the phone and I pressed call
" can I get a cab to..." I told them the address and left out. Fuck her she helped her get away from me
I waited for the cab to pull up and hopped out the car. I opened the door but didn't get in. I stuck my hand in the car with my phone in it
" you dropped her off earlier" I asked him sternly
" oh yeah that's a nice girl" he spoke in a broke accent
" where you take her" before he could say something my dad was calling me. I picked it up
" She in New York,Times Square area"
"New York" they both said at the same time
