It  probably should not have made me happy that mum and dad had left for work before I even woke up, but it did. I didn't want them to question the weekend and my happiness. Lying had become much easier for me in a short amount of time, but that didn't mean I liked having to do so. This way, I could smile uncontrollably without my father's eyes constantly giving me skeptical looks.

I hadn't seen Harry since Saturday and to say I was excited to see him again today would be an understatement. Maggie seemed fine after she found out what Luke did and decided there were plenty of fish in the sea. I had still ended up spending my entire Sunday with her, though. We had been lying in bed almost the entire day watching movies as mum and dad had been working. I had really enjoyed the day. Hopefully, Maggie had too. No matter how serious Harry and I got I needed to prioritize time with Maggie as well.

Maggie gave me a knowing look before she exited the car as we dropped her off first. She knew I was excited to see Harry again, and whether she was jealous or not herself she didn't show it. "Tell Harry I say hi," she whispered for only me to hear. "Bye James. Have a nice day. See you later." She shot the door behind her and headed for the school building before he put the car in drive.

"You seem to be in a very good mood today, El."

"I am, James. Thanks," I told him smiling to myself, as I had caught eye contact with him in the rear view mirror.

"Good. It suits you."

I didn't say anything else I just looked out the window as we passed numerous buildings, and my thoughts kept wandering back to a certain green eyed man. Hopefully, Harry would be just as happy to see me as I was him.

"Have a nice day, darling," James said parking the car.

"Thanks, you too," I said and left the vehicle. I was about to tell him we would meet later when he picked me up, but if I was lucky Harry didn't have work today.

Luckily, it was no longer snowing, but everything was still covered in white meaning it was still freezing outside. I hurried up not wanting to stay outside longer than necessary but without running remembering how badly that had ended last time I had done so. I didn't get far, though. The vibration of my phone had me stopping, and I hauled it out of my purse wondering who would be texting me now.

You look cute in that outfit. See you aren't running on the ice. Probably a good call considering what happened last time. x H

I looked down at my boots and black tights, wondering if he was joking. You could barely even see the dress I wore because of the big coat I was wearing on top of everything. And the beanie I was wearing wasn't considered cute. However, it brought a smile to my lips nonetheless. I looked around confused wondering where he could be. I couldn't see him anywhere.

Two arms wrapped around my waist from behind, and my smile grew in realisation. My heart rate immediately increased, and my body temperature rose. "Missed me?" His breath was warm on my cheek, and his voice hoarse like always making butterflies erupt in my stomach.

"Would it be bad, if I said no?" I teased with a smile knowing he couldn't see my face.

"Yes very, because I've missed you." He was very honest, which I liked.

I turned around in his arms and wrapped my own around his frame. "Well to answer your question. Yes, I've missed you."

"Good. I would have felt bad if I scared you away after what happened Saturday." He looked down at my lips and then back up to meet my eyes.

"You didn't. In a matter of fact. I think you'll have a hard time getting rid of me now."

"Why would I want to get rid of you?" He looked confused.
