When Harry didn't find me before school started, I worried where he was. But I shook it off until he didn't show up in class either. At lunch I had tried calling him several times, but not once did he pick up leaving me with a feeling that something bad had happened.

"You haven't seen him have you?" I asked.

"Who?" Jen asked occupied with scrolling through her Instagram wall.

"Harry," I said looking around trying to spot him. Where was he and why wasn't he answering my calls?

"No," she said keeping her head on the phone while I sat down next to her with my lunch.

"I'm sure he'll show up," she faked me a smile. Putting her phone away she looked at me. "So what were you doing when you skipped school, for what I believe was the first time ever?" She asked changing the subject clearly not bothered by Harry's absence.

"I was with Harry," I said blushing at the thought of what we had been doing in his bedroom.

"Doing what?" She asked.

"Nothing," I said making my mouth into a straight line trying to stop myself from saying anything. I was dying to tell her, but at the same time, I didn't want to gloat.

"Yeah right. Spill already," she said looking down fiddling with her hands. Had I not been too focused on the memory of Harry and I, I would probably have noticed her uneasiness but I didn't until later.

"Well we went to his place-" I started going into detail about what had happened. I even told her about my thong going missing and Anne catching us and the fact that I had to leave the house without underwear. I laughed to myself at the memory. Though it had been embarrassing it sure was funny. I was certain Jen had thought we had already had sex, but I told her I wasn't ready for that yet.

"You don't you think it's going a bit too fast?" She spoke abruptly taking me by surprise.

"Uhm, no," I said. We were taking it in a speed I felt comfortable with. Had he been with someone else, I was sure they'd already passed the stage of having sex.

"Well a couple of weeks ago you hadn't even kissed someone. And now you're going all in on oral. This isn't like you, El!"

Wow talk about killing the mood. What was going on?

"Okay. Well you were the one who told me to live my life. It's not like we're even sleeping together yet. Where is all this coming from?"

She let out a deep sigh and shivers ran down my spine afraid of what she was going to tell me. The look she was giving me told me it wasn't something good, and I wasn't sure I wanted to hear it.

"I really don't like telling you this." She looked hesitant, and my heart skipped a beat in fear.

"Tell me what?" My words came out in a blur do to lack of oxygen. I couldn't breathe normally as my anxiety was building up within me. What was happening?

"He's cheating on you," she said grabbing my hand, and I sat frozen unsure of what to say or feel once the second word escaped her lips.

Cheating.

He wasn't cheating. Harry wasn't cheating on me. He was perfect. He was mine. He wouldn't hurt me like that. He wasn't that kind of person. My thoughts were getting the best of me, and I stared at her with an empty expression.

"What?" I slurred out. I was not sure how to comprehend her words.

"I saw him kissing someone else. I think she's older," Jen said, and I stood up not feeling like being around anybody right now.
