"Stop staring at me like that," I complained not even bothering looking up from my textbook.
"Like what?" I couldn't even see his face, but I could definitely imagine the smirk on his face.
"Like you're going to eat me."
"Maybe I do want to eat you," he said seductively in my ear making my heart skip a beat.
"You're distracting me, Harry. I have to study for this and in a matter of fact so do you."
"But it's boring. I can find something I'd rather study." He slightly bit my ear and goosebumps arose on my skin. He was such a tease.
"You're unbelievable," I told him our eyes meeting.
"I know." He smirked.
"I didn't mean that in a good way," I said closing the book feeling defeated. There was no way I would manage getting any reading done when Harry was in this mood.
"You know, I've been thinking of something." He said sitting down next to me.
"What?" I wondered.
"That maybe we should take you to the doctor. Like maybe it would be a good idea to get you on the pill."
His words took me aback, yet they made sense. It would be much easier especially for him if I was on the pill. That way, we didn't have to worry about a condom every time we thought of doing it.
At my silence he quickly added, "I would help pay of course. Don't want you to have to deal with this on your own."
I placed a hand on his cheek. "Don't worry about the money. I'll be fine." I knew depending on my parents was wrong, but I didn't want Harry to use his hard earned money on me.
"So what are you saying?"
"That I think it's a good idea."
"Yeah?" His eyes widened, and his smile was undeniable. I loved when I could make him happy so easily.
"Yes," I said finding it hard to believe that after only having sex twice I was already thinking of getting on the pill, but it would happen eventually either way I was sure, so starting now probably wasn't the worst idea. Who would ever have thought all these things would be happening to me of all people? A girl who'd up until recently would have sworn she would have waited until marriage to have sex. A girl who also hadn't kissed anyone before meeting Harry.
"What's on your mind?" He asked stroking my arm in a soothing manner.
"That I find it hard to believe that I have a boyfriend who I love and who I've slept with, and that I'm lying to my parents about all of it."
"You don't regret anything do you?" He asked his voice changing, worrying.
"No, Harry. I don't regret a single thing. Because I get to have it all with you and that's what truly matters." I looked him in the eyes, and he pressed a kiss to my cheek.
He kept smiling and took my hand giving it a squeeze. "So would you be up for going to the doctor today maybe to get a prescription?"
I nodded. "Of course."
"Really?"
"Yes, you goof." I smiled at him. "But I'm not sure when they'll start working, so until then we'll still have to be safe."
"You know it's called a condom right?"
"Yeah, yeah."
"You're the best," he pecked my cheek, and I felt goosebumps appearing on my skin. How was it that such a small gesture could have my body act this way? It was crazy what he did to me. Not that I was complaining, but it was like he could make me do anything by a simple look, and I wouldn't question it. I knew that was called trust, but in a way it was surprisingly scary.
