Filing into the large conference room, I marveled at the view at the floor-to-ceiling windows that displayed the entire city. A large circular table with enough seats for an entire army filled the room, every bit of furniture following the common theme of black and red. Lacroix stood between two body guards, also dressed in black, against the wall as he welcomed us all in. Reyes sternly looked amongst all of the soldiers, assuring they all stood with tight posture and paid their utmost respects to Lacroix.

Taking a seat between Cole and the newfound soldier, Greene, I glanced around the room nervously. Fidgeting around with the medic patch on my arm, Cole grabbed my wrist and held it gently to keep it still. I sighed and whispered a thank you, hushed whispers turning to silence as Lacroix took a seat beside Reyes and cleared his throat. Taking a deep breath, he pursed his lips and stroked his mustache, smiling ever so smugly. His eyes seemed to scan the face of every single individual within the room, eyes falling on Reyes for a sturdy amount of time. Finally, he clapped quickly, as well as briefly.

"Let's begin."

Curtains to the large windows fell and caused the beams of sun to completely disappear. The room was pitch black for what felt like hours, my heart throbbing in my chest out of both nerves and excitement. Finally, in the middle of the large table, a blue light illuminated to show a globe of the world. Several destinations popped up, encompassing every Blackwatch and Overwatch base that remained.

My eyes widened, watching the technology unravel before me. I was so accustomed to typical lab equipment and limited access to state of the art technology with Helio that I felt like a little kid in a candy store being exposed to such wonders- all thanks to Jack.

The globe spun slowly for a few moments before it zoomed into Venice, Italy. Clasping my hands in my lap, grew fixated on every pixel of the hologram.

"Antonio Bartalotti, an arms dealer associated with Talon, has taken over the city of Venice. Not only is he a criminal in that aspect, but we have been gathering intel on Talon, and have evidence to believe Bartalotti is responsible for the attack on Overwatch's Oslo facilities. He has a compound there, and infiltrating it to assure he is arrested is nearly impossible. He has acquainted himself with members of the government. Even if we were capable with apprehending him, say, if we had the numbers- he would be bailed out immediately." Shaking his head slightly in frustrating, he sighed and continued. "We need to find some way to end his reputation. Make it so his empire crumbles and our hands are wiped clean of it all."

"I'm up for a road trip," Cole smirked, kicking his spurs up onto the table and popping a cigar into my mouth. I glared and scolded him quietly for his actions. Reyes shot a look at Cole and narrowed his eyes.

"With what resources? What army? We are operating underground with a single medic we pulled off of the street and soldiers that we can hardly convince to stay. We do not have the numbers." Reyes looked at me and shrugged, "No offense, (L/N)."

"None taken." I nodded and looked back up to the illuminated globe. I thought of the different circumstances in my head, knowing better than to put anything on the table. Reyes and Lacroix bickered back and forth while I zoned out, until Greene leaned forward slightly, trying to catch my attention. I looked at him and smiled sheepishly, muttering an apology for getting sidetracked. A man of few words.

I looked back to the globe, squinting slightly, eliminating the impossible as well as adding to the possible. I felt a tiny lightbulb go off in my mind, turning to Reyes and waiting until he made eye contact. Visibly distressed and frustrated, his eyebrows raised slightly.

"Question, (L/N)?" His shoulders were broadened, stiff due to the stress of an entire organization on his shoulders. I nodded and sat up straighter in my seat, coughing to clear my throat of the thick cigar air due to Cole.
