I stand in my room in the castle and look out the window. Not much going on outside right now, except for a few birds fighting about something, but I like it anyway. Sometimes that really calms me down.

My phone rings. I go to my bed where it is lying and take it to the window. I answer. "Simon, hi" "Wille" his voice sounds shaky. "What happened?" I ask worried. "It... just a little stress with my family, nothing more" it doesn't really sound like a little, it sounds like a lot. "Are you sure?" I ask skeptically. "Yes I am" "Okay" I take a short break. "Is that why you called me?"

"I think so. Hearing your voice calms me down you know" "Okay" I smirk. "What else? How's the holiday going?" I'm sitting on my window sill. "Except for the daily fights with all kinds of people and missing you, fine" "At least a little" I smile. "Yes, at least that" he pauses.

"By the way, I've already been chatted up three times or so today, like, 'Aren't you the boyfriend of this crown prince, the one of Sweden?' As your boyfriend, life is not easy" he laughs briefly. "I've never said otherwise" I grin. "Well then that's fine" he sounds much better than at the beginning of our conversation. Goal achieved I would say.

I hear a quiet voice coming from the phone: "Simon, can you come please?". "I'll be right there" replies Simon. "You heard it, I need to go. I love you" "I love you too" he hangs up.

His two grandmothers are best friends and therefore wanted to go on vacation together. And instead of going alone, they had the brilliant idea that they could just take the whole family with them. That's why Simon is chilling somewhere in Greece right now, trying to survive.

I look out the window again and suddenly an idea comes to me. I pick up my phone again, open the chat with Linda and type in a short message.

- Linda?

After a few minutes you will get an answer.

~ Wille. Do you need anything?

- Yes. I need the place you are in right now

~ I'll check, not that I misspelled it for you

- Thanks

~ What are you up to?

- Surprise, so for Simon, I can tell you

~ Then tell me

- In theory, of course, could you be in a certain place near you in a few hours?

~ In theory, yes. In practice, I still need the exact time and place

- I'll text you when I know

~ Ok fine

I toss my empty suitcase onto the bed and start packing while making a few phone calls. Sometimes being the crown prince has advantages, but really only sometimes.

A short time later, Linda's message comes with the name of the place. I call someone again and a short time later everything is settled, including with my parents.

My things are already packed and I drag the suitcase to the front door. There the driver invites him into the trunk of the car. I'll go back inside as I have about fifteen minutes left.

"What are you doing?" I look questioningly at Mom, who is just putting on her shoes. "I still have to buy something, but I'll be right back" she kisses me on the forehead with a smile. "By the way, there's a little something to eat in the garden, so if you're hungry" she goes to the door. "Bye" I wave briefly and then go to my room.

We haven't been on vacation for a long time. Yes, we were, but always to my grandparents, now they are here too, but it's different whether you're at grandma's house or whether you're on vacation with grandma. In addition, my two grandmothers pay for the whole thing themselves, mom only had to pay for the flights. And we even have a rental car, which is pure luxury.

I lie in my bed and stare at the ceiling. Actually, I'm hungry. Then why am I still here? I get up and go outside. The holiday home is not very big and the garden is also suitable. He's small but absolutely beautiful. On the table is a plate of fruit and two sandwiches. I grin. Mom knows me very well, I'm realizing now. I lie on a lounger, eat a little something while I watch some videos.

I get off the plane and look around. Then I see Linda. She stands behind a fence, leaning against a car and smiles contentedly when she sees me. I'll wait a moment until Malin has got out too, because of regulations and so, and then go through the gate to Linda. She hugs me. "It's so nice to see you"

"It's so nice to see you" I smile. Linda briefly greets Malin and then our luggage is loaded into the car. During the drive we talk about everything we have done in the last few days, which is definitely more interesting with Linda than with me. I mean, the last few days I've actually only been in the castle.

"Wille, can you please ask Simon if he ate the food I put out for him?" "Sure" I'll take her phone. She briefly holds her finger to the fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone and then focuses on the road again. I'll quickly type in what Linda asked. An answer comes shortly afterwards.

~ Yes I have. By the way, I'm still lying outside because I'm too lazy to go in. Just so you don't look for me afterwards or anything

I read it to Linda. "Great, then you know where to find your boyfriend" she grins.

We get out of the car. An elderly woman is sitting in front of the house, as far as I know, she's one of Simon's grandmothers. She looks up as the car doors slam. I wait for Linda to greet the woman as I have no idea how to go about it.

"I just had to pick up my son-in-law" Linda winks at me. I grin. "Hey" I shake her hand briefly. She looks a bit perplexed. "I thought Simon just made it up so he wouldn't look bad" she finally says. Weird. It's not like it's been all over the news, but whatever. "The whole thing is actually real" I laugh.

"Crown Prince, where is your luggage going?" Malin reports from behind. I look questioningly at Linda. "I'll show you" she says. I go to the car and take out the bag that is left and go after the two.

I stand behind the lounger Simon is lying on and grin. He lies there with his eyes closed and enjoys the sun. It looks like he's sleeping, but that's deceptive. I've watched him sleep enough times to know what he looks like when he's asleep.

That has just sound so weird and disgusting, sorry. But he looks cute when he sleeps. I mean he always looks cute, but yeah. I keep watching him while I make a plan.

I stand next to him, sit on the lounger and say: "Slide over a bit". Simon jumps in shock and opens his eyes. He's staring at me like he's seen a ghost. I start laughing as it looks so funny. He looks around like he doesn't know how to react. But the next moment he hugs me.

"Why are you here?" he asks after a while. We're still sitting there arm in arm. "You sounded like you could take it really well on the phone right now" I reply, grinning. "Thank you" he slowly breaks away from the hug. "I would even have flown to America for you" I smile. He kisses me.

The next few days we lie together on the beach, swim a race, cuddle and have random conversations, walk hand in hand through the city, enjoy the sunsets, we are photographed and posted by people, which I don't really think is bad anymore, and there are only positive comments among them, we are spoken to and we, and especially me, are told how brave you think it is, to come out in front of the whole world and so on. All in all one can say that it is a very nice time.

On the last day we all sit together in the garden and talk a bit about our time here. Simon is sitting on my lap and seems really happy, and he's also having the first sensible conversation with his grandmother since I've been here.

"Simon" "Hmm?" he turns to me. I pull him closer to me. "I love you so much" I whisper in his ear smiling. "I love you too" he kisses me briefly on the lips.
