"Del, would you give me a chance?" George asked as they drove to Nigel's house. "You know I can make you happy."
"George, I need time on my own. You know I would never make you happy. I love someone else, and I will always love him."
"You can't be alone for the rest of your life, Del. I can give you anything."
"I'm sorry, George. I will always be thankful. You need someone who can really love you and can make you happy."
As soon as they arrived he left her side and went to Maria. Delilah went to her uncle. "Honey, thank God. I was so worried." They hugged and then sat down on the couch. Maria took George out of the living room. "We need to talk."
"About?"
"About... your parents and me."
"What about mom and dad?"
"Your dad wasn't your real father."
"What? But I look just like Grandma Thornton."
"I'm your father."
"Oh my God. But mom?"
"I always loved your mother. And what she did was because she loved your father and wanted to give him a child. She came to me for help. I know this is a big shock for you. But you must know I love you."
"Oh, Papa. I love you too. And you've always been a father figure to me." She hugged him and the door flew open. George stormed in followed by a hysteric Maria.
"Nigel!" George said.
"What is it?" Nigel asked, getting up.
"It's Elizabeth!" Maria said, holding her bloody hands. "He killed her!"
Delilah stood up and fainted.
"I can't believe there are so many policemen here, I can't even bury my wife in peace." Nigel said as Delilah clung to his arm.
"We have to be careful, Papa. He could kill any of us." Delilah looked back at George who had his arm protectively around Maria's shoulders, and she hid a small smile.
"I'm so scared for you. You're the one in real danger. You're the one he's looking for."
"He killed Elizabeth because she ratted him out."
"And he wants to kill you because you got away." He said as they got into the black limousine followed by George and Maria.
"When we get home, I have to go by the apartment to pick up the rest of our things." Delilah said.
"You're not going alone." George said.
"Don't worry, George. I have enough escorts and bodyguards."
"Well, well. Look who came to visit me." Steve said as Delilah entered the apartment. As soon as she saw him, she regretted convincing the bodyguards to wait outside.
"Steve! My bodyguards are outside. I'll scream and they'll come in." She said as he walked towards her pointing a gun at her.
"I just want to talk, go." He said, pushing her towards the living room. She sat down on the couch. "So, how are you?" He asked.
"Get to the point, they are going to wonder what is taking so long."
"It's about Tom. I'm leaving, but I want to see him before I leave."
"You never cared about him."
"Look, Delilah, he's my son!"
"Kahil." Nigel said over the phone. "I'm so happy you haven't left yet."
