Chapter 13 A Night To Remember

Earlier that same Saturday
6 pm



Reese planned a date for him and Elisha. He knocked on her front door and she stepped outside to embrace him.

They walked to the car. He opened the driver's door and presented her with a bouquet of flowers.

She kissed him as he handed her the flowers.

"Thanks baby"
"You're welcome" he said opening the door for her.
"Where are we going"
"Its a surpise" he said.

They drove toward the chosen destination while "Cupid" by 112 played in the background.

They talked a little but mostly glanced at each other and he held her hand with his free hand.

After about 20 minutes they made it to their destination. The Hollywood Beach.
She loved the beach. It was her happy place and how she unwound from stress besides dancing.

Elisha looked at Reese and smiled. Reese leaned over and kissed her.

"I told you I would make it up to you" he whisphered against her lips.

"And you did" she said smiling against his lips before pecking them.

They walked to the beach and found a pizza joint.

Elisha thought they would eat inside but instead Reese said "Lets go" grabbing her hand and leading her out the crowded place.

He walked her to a spot on the beach and laid out a blanket.

As they ate they stared at the water as the sky grew darker. She rested her head on his shoulder.

"This is so romantic. I knew you had it in you".

"Nah, you always understimating me, like I've never showed you this side of me before" Reese joked, but Elisha knew there was a seriousness behind what he said.

"Im sorry babe" she said turning her body to his, running her hand down his cheek and kissing him.

"You need to stop that, for real. I've been down for you since 10th grade and I've always kept it one hundred with you and treated you like the queen you are. Have I not?" He asked.

"Yes" she tilted her head slightly. "You have. I just.. I just worry that you're gonna switch up on me. Or get tired of what we have." She admitted looking down at the sand.

He gently lifted her chin so she was looking directly into his eyes.

"Stop that. I wont ever get tired of you. I love you girl."

She blushed. "I know..but your brother, you look up to him, he's always giving you advice, and lets be honest, he aint loyal to none of these females."

" Well thats cause he hasn't found what I found yet. But when he does, he will chill out. I dont go to him for advice on everything. I just want you to stop being so insecure about me, about us. I aint going nowhere... Do you trust me?" He asked looking into her eyes, his voice lower and deeper than usual.

She nodded. "Yes" she whispered.

"So if I wanted to lay you down and make love to you right now, would you let me?" He asked staring into her eyes.

Those words caught her by surpise and she shifted slightly, squeezing her thighs together. Reese looked down at her thighs and back into her eyes maintaining a serious expression on his face. He was studying her at this point, every inch of her.

"Right here, right now?" She asked nervously.

He nodded.

"We can go to a more private area on the beach, or..we can go in the water".

She blushed again turning her face away from him. If it weren't for her chocolate skin, her cheeks would be glowing red at this point.

"I dont have a bathing suit"
"You won't need one" he said looking her up and down.

"I dont know, its people out here still".

"Its dark, They aint gonna see our black ass out there"

Elisha busted out laughing. "You are... soooo stupid!"

He laughed.

"Or we can just go to a hotel" he suggested.

"Ok" she answered coyly.

" Lets go"

They packed up their stuff and walked to the parking lot. They got in the car and headed to their destination....
