I just wanted to clarify a few things before you read:
The Story
This story IS about teenagers in their senior year of high school. I myself am not a teenager, so therefore I may not use today's teenage generation's latest slang or the latest music in my story, nor will I use characters that are more in line with the teenage aesthetic nowadays . I'm a 90s baby at heart, so I love my 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s music.
Characters
I'm also going to use character pics that I feel best portray how I visualize the characters.
If you don't like how a character looks feel free to imagine them however you want 😊 I don't care, I'm just not changing any of their pics.
Plot development
Also this story delves into the lives of multiple characters, mainly 6 which includes the relationships of four couples.
Each person and the relationships they're in are complex and I take character development and depth seriously.
That means I have alot to write about and lots of drama to give yall. It's sort of a slow burn just because there are many character storylines that will evolve. So please be patient ♡
Teens are definitely welcome to read but I think 25+ group will relate more with the choice in music and characters chosen.
Lastly this book contains mature themes such as:
Sex, abstinence, criminal behavior, racism, mental health, addiction, physical abuse
